Upon hearing that the seat was broken, the airline crew offered my mother a check for 100 SGD (14% of the ticket value) to be used on Singapore airlines (for the discomfort caused for over 50% of the flight time). They changed her seat from Seoul to Singapore. When I wrote to them about it, they came back saying they had offered her a seat change from LA to Singapore, and she had declined, which is absolutely false. When I called that out, they said, maybe they did not offer aisle seats (note that the broken seat was not aisle). So it just shows that they don't want to accept that they messed up. They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again."

They are talked so loudly,drunk and the smell very bad.you know i couldn’t sleep but When They are asking for more wine and the cabin crew also give it for them, i cant belived it!!!. And another guy he want to enjoy with them and asked me to change a sit, i want to sleep and i though it will be better for me. But its not. They are talked more louder. And the problem is when they are getting drunk, the guy back to his sit and take something in his cabin, because he can not control his actions so some stuff from his bag drop down over my head also my body. I was mad but how should i do? Point at his face and tell something bad? Oh i can not. canbin crew just comes and say sorry with me. That is a bad flight that i ever had. You treat customers well but you should have a limit. Im so disappointed about my flight of that day. Thank you"

Several of the monitors/remote controls were not working. The lay out in the business class prevents you from getting up and out to go to the restroom when the person next to you is lying down and sleeping. The seats recline in a way that are not comfortable. The feet are still downwards. Overall, this plane's business class was not worth the money. I expect much more from Emirates."

Khuyết điểm: "1. I joined at Bangalore. The staff worked strictly according to the rules. While this is good it lends itself to passenger discomfort at times. Example: I had only 1 suitcase of 45 pounds, and I had a hand baggage of 13.7 kgs, because I was carrying all my precious crystalware back to Houston. The attendant kept insisting I lighten the hand baggage to les than 7 kgs. Finally he even suggested I send the hand baggage as checked luggage. He must be insane! I had a few thousand dollars worth of crystal in that hand bag and there was no way I'd send as checked luggage. Finally, I lightened the load to 10 kgs and called his manager and I was allowed to carry the hand luggage. 2. On landing at Dubai, everything unraveled. The airport was full of thousands of stranded passengers because 18 hours ago a plane had crash-landed at the tarmac causing flight cancellations. Obviously Emirates was poorly prepared for handling this this emergency. Many of the passengers, including myself, ended up standing at the customer service counters (there were about 10 customer service stations all over the airport), and every customer station had about 500 irate passengers and 3 or 4 agents handling them. Not only that, the customers were standing in stuffy atmosphere, no fod no water for hours, many mothers were desperate with children. Emirates had no idea how to handle this situation. I caught hold of a senior police official and told him that the least he could do was to give the customers some bottled water to keep them hydrated. Within minutes, in typical Arab hospitality - many cases of bottled water showed up, followed by cupcakes and then Mango Frootis. This helped to calm the passengers down. Then there was the chaos of everyone crowding the service desk. No lines, no semblance of order. After discussion with the policeman, we installed barriers for that passengers would stand single file. One thing that was very wrong and out of our control was there were only 3, sometimes 4, persons behind the desk, attending to more than 500 stranded passengers at each station. I reckon we would need at least 20 or 30 staff at each station. I noted that at each customer depot there were at least 10 computer stations at our service station, but only 3 were manned. Also, there was no one to advise the passengers on their status, what arrangements were being made, what the status update of the situation was...... nothing. We just stood in a bunch at the customer service desk and hoped for some attention. Appalling. Emirates needs to beef up their crisis management strategies. As a Crisis Manager myself, I was appalled to see how poor their capability to respond to a crisis situation was. I have many ideas based on my experience in crisis management. If you want suggestions call me. Besides this crisis, Emirates has always been a very good airline to me. Their everyday service is impeccable and a treat to experience. Khuyết điểm: "The weather delay was understandable - boarded flight 19 hours later than scheduled, but then there was a problem with the engine, that delayed us further by 5 hours. We had to sit on the aircraft for 5 extra hours on top of what was already an extra long flight. 21 hours on the plane - and there was no coffee! Being on a plane for that long, you should be able to get a cup of coffee. Staff seemed annoyed as well and were overall a bit rude. Wine tasted like acid."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight was cancelled and we were automatically placed on another EARLIER flight and we weren't notified. I found out the morning of our original flight, as our new flight was about to board. I still haven't figured out who was responsible for this snafu - the airline or Webjet.com. Webjet customer service was horrible and offensive when I tried to explain to them what happened; they said it was my responsibility to check the time. I would disagree - the customer is ultimately supposed to get an email notifying them of the flight change, giving them options. Based on that phone call with Webjet, I will NEVER do business with them again. As for the flight cancellation issue - if Kayak could help me get to the bottom of this, that would be appreciated."

Ưu: "The hard product of seats and plane was really nice. Flying the new A359, very comfortable. Lower cabin pressure felt really nice on the skin. Lie flat beds were a treat, and a massive entertainment system."
Khuyết điểm: "The food was average. Had some chicken on pasta on the way over, chicken was dry and without sauce. My wife fainted on the flight and the flight attendant wasn't the most reassuring. Also her foot rest broke and they blamed her weight which was mean."
