The issues not caused by JAL but Americans airlines(AA). Since the ticket was purchased through AA we where froce by AA to use there baggage rules which are very restricted when you think of AA think Spirit Airlines. AA add $400 of baggage fee to ticket that would been free if we used the baggage rules of JAL. JAL siad they where froced by AA to collect the fee that was charged to AA.
Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.
I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". Lots of space to spread out (which was not their doing) and big seats with big screens and plenty of legroom.
The delay was 6 and half hours… They didn’t provide any comfortable space to stay. We needed to worry about PCR test and everything, so at least they could provide reasonable offers which is that we could use JAL lounge or somewhere we could relax and stay.

I love JAL but this flight was not one of the better ones for me. Not through any fault of the staff, they are top notch, but certainly this flight ranks as just "okay"."

She was very professional , serving customer with the best she can. Always smiles. I feel good whenever I see her walks by, smile and very professional When the meal was serve but they only had one dish to choose instead of two ( I guess that day Chicken Masala dish was high on demand so there are only Japanese dish left) she said we are so sorry with a very sincere gesture , I chose Japanese food because I like Japanese food anyway , she politely thanks me for my choice and later bring a bag of small mix snack for me and said thank you for being flexible . Later on, when we getting off the airplane she even helped me to stroll my carry on out to the airplane because I was carry too many stuffs with me and my daughter being so tired of the long flight so I have to comforted my daughter . The stewardess saw that and helping me a hand . I wish every airlines has someone like this crew member . Thank you so much for the awesome service on Japan Airlines."

I couldn't sleep the entire 16 hours more than 30 minutes. I asked for water to take some medicine and was told it was 30 minutes til food service and to wait. It was over 2 hours before they started food service."

The flight is canceled due to the weather, has to stay overnight at the airport, no available flight to LAX next day, had to change the destination and pay out of pocket for the other flight to LAX.
The crew at checking give us a hard time even with two children and one Enfant for no reason just for 2 kilo overweight they make us stay there for like one hour be careful with that Not helpful at all and so weird people bad experience bad experience

They also keep their planes unbearably hot, which I have no idea why, making the trip in that cramped seat horrible. Their in between meals snacks consist of cheese sandwiches, and the attendants never come around with drinks or snacks. I also fly Singapore Air and Emirates and their service is subperb!"

SO IN THE END THEY GAVE US A BULLSHIT STORY SO THEY CAN GET RID OF US AND HAVE US RUN AROUND WHERE IN THE END WE GAVE UP AND SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT TILL WE GOT HOME. I almost did not make it. The staff never gave us an explanation about what happened at the JFK I flew for 10 hours scared and stressed out. I asked the staff if it was possible at the time of landing to get out with the business class or somehow to get out before everybody else, but they were completely useless. Also in the middle of the flight a woman started feeling very bad. She had an intense migraine because of the high pressure, clearly the woman was not used to fly very often. The poor woman was ill and the entire crew was surrounding her. 7 ppl standing in the way of customers, a male attendant touched my shoulder with his private parts at least 5 times. Also every time they passed by the would hurt my shoulder or my arm with out even apologize. What kind of customer service is this? Forgetting about all the other passengers? Creating a situation of panick just because of how unprofessional they are? You can be the most comfortable or cheapest airline company and add all the luggage and food you want but if your crew doesn't know anything in customer service the customer will fly with a different company next time!"

Customer service staff were unhelpful and had a negative attitude. The transfer were helpful."

You sold me tickets that didn’t exist. My wife and I arrived at ORD to be notified that our plane to Athens, Greece departed at 1pm and there was never a 5:45 flight out of ORD to Athens. We arrived from DEN to ORD with no notification of this and were left in shock that Kayak had committed fraud upon us. I tried to call your customer service, but they were no help. 0 out of 5 stars. Just bad.
Kept switching gates is the only negative thing
The crew was great. They all deserve raises.
The check in process was very slow. We arrived 3 hours prior de departure time and almost made it.
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in
Step up in Boarding organizing. Sitting groups weren't recognized, slurred speech while announcing. There were two lines (not just signs, but actual long lines): Groups 1-4 and Groups 5-9. I and my wife were group 5. I was sent to that long line with all groups mixed. No one was called out of that line to go in order of group numbers, the audio of announcement of poo quality and faded because of long line. It was a mess. We've boarded with Group 9 as we were behind in line of passengers with group 9. I'm frequent flyer and haven't seen the boarding that poor. Though, the service during the flight was great.
