It would be MUCH better for ANA and the customer to begin the checkin process 3.5 to 4hours prior instead of 3."

I understand this carrier needs to cater to a broad cultural and geographic audience, but I think they make it too complicated. Giving meal service a decidedly Japanese angle results in main courses that are mush, and sides that are OK. Good yogurt, decent fruit, delicately prepared salads, delicious cookies and hagen daz are pretty simple and make the meals fun. (especially since chop sticks are always included), but the ovens turn the main courses into a stinky and kinda nasty thing. I wish they would simplify."

Japanese-style hospitality, respect and quality of service (which is beyond the heavens) shows from check-in to landing (and even post-landing.) The in-flight meals, inspired by Japanese recipes of the Japanese destination or origin, were finely made - that goes even for Economy Class. When there was a delay that was ultimately out of their control, they made things right with post-landing arrangements. Never take any other country's airline when flying into Japan - always always ALWAYS take ANA whenever you can. (Avoid codeshares, too!!)"

Thete was not sufficient time to arrive more than an hour early due to the fact Gimpo airport opens at 6am and the flight was at 7:45. When I arrived I was not allowed to check in or board and no one wanted to help me find out what to do. They suggested I call my ticketing agent. Thankfully they were helpful but they mentioned the ANA SHOULD have helped me find the next available flight but the representative kept repeating it was not her job. Finally she looked and said there were no available flights and tried to push me to buy another ticket through another company. My ticketing agent helped after she heard what happened and rebooked my flight for the next day. Hopefully everything goes smoothly but ANA staff at Gimpo were a bit of a nightmare to deal with"

Ưu: "The large windows on the 787 are really a big plus for someone like me who likes to look out the window. To have the added ability to dim the window progressively is just too cool. Even if the sun is bright, you can still look out and enjoy the view. I love this feature of the 787 and am always a little disappointed when I'm back in any other aircraft."

Cathay Pacific also serve HD ice cream, but half the size on lunch meal. ANA serve on both meals."

If you are in the US you need to log on to the ANA US site, the JP site is in Japanese and it will not redirect you to US. On line check in can get confused as a lot of time it would not recognize the booking number, you have to use a long 10 digit e-ticket number. My fight from Tokyo to HKG would let me check in and get seat assignment until 24 hours before the scheduled flight. The seat map shows all seat ps were taken without telling what is going on."

Making it all even later. No food offered for this quite expensive flight, only water, and no entertainment either."

The seat allocation was horrible, and I was surrounded by nasty neighbors, who were chatting throughout the 10+hour flight, even after my verbal warning, not to mention the way children were taken care of. I am not blaming children making noise. I am blaming the lack of control over the parents who bring noisy toys for children and play videos loud enough to disturb the neighbor's sleep throughout the flight."

We had to queue an hour and a half for our boarding pass and check in, which makes it unbelievable how is that possible. We were there early since 815am, and only got our boarding around 10am. We nearly missed our flight as there were queue all around for security check. I guess this is the first and the last time i will travel with Vietnam Airlines."

They even followed thru so that staff in Seoul assisted us with our connection. We were very impressed. Korean Air's flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. The level of service is superior to most airlines we've used."

They did allow her access to a short cut through the terminals; however she had collapsed, broke her watch, cover to the cell phone, injured both legs and right arm. She kept yelling for help and no one arrived, she managed while in intense pain to get up make her flight. When she arrived in Bangkok she went immediately to the Emergency Room and received treatment. I am appalled at the indifference of the members of the boarding crew that didn't offer assistance to my wife."

Ưu: "I am a frequent flyer internationally and domestically in the USA, and flown multiple airlines but have never ever felt offended by a flight crew until my return flight to the US from Clark airport in the Philippines scheduled to depart on 1-13-2016 at 11:55pm. The cabin flight stewardess in her navy blue top and jeans asked me to sit down when she saw me standing at the front of the plane while the plane was cruising. There was no turbulence at that time, the seat belt sign was off and the captain did not announce a need to stay seated with the seat belt on. I explained that my back and left leg hurts so I needed to stretch, shake it off and stand. She insisted that I sit for my safety. I did not argue because I did not want to cause trouble. Then I asked her for the toilet which was behind her, hidden as she keeps the curtain pulled around the toilet and galley. She directed me to the tail of the plane when I am seated at #28B at first row at the front of the plane, 4-5 steps away from me. She kept still, standing in front of the toilet until I walked away to the back of the plane. Again, I did not complain nor argue. I thought to myself that maybe the front toilet if off limits to passengers. Then later when I returned to my seat, I watched all other passengers who appear of her same race and talked same language as hers, pull the curtain covering the toilet and galley, use the toilet and get drinks from her freely. I felt very offended that I was not allowed to use this toilet as every one else have and did not receive the same friendly service as those passengers. I wanted to keep to myself about this but I realized I was treated unequally. So I told her that I was offended that she directed me to the back of the plane to use the toilet while everyone else used the front of the plane toilet. I also told her I felt I was not treated equally and felt very hurt. She kept apologizing after I explained how I feel but her apology does not take away the fact that I was treated differently and unequally. I advised her that she should not treat her passengers as if we are ignorant of flying, of our rights and of flying etiquette. She kept apologizing every time she passes by me throughout the flight but this did not ease my feelings at all. This was the last blow to my dissatisfaction with this trip beginning with the 2-hour flight delay. With many other airlines flying to Clark airport in the Philippines, I choose not to fly Jin Air again. In fact, I already booked with another airline today for my next trip with my family in 6 months for a wedding. I will not recommend Jin Air to everyone I know."
