Ưu: "The Hanoi airport was great. Had hand sanitization centers and medical staff to monitor people during this corona virus outbreak. The plane was very nice and clean and they did not pass out blankets due to the virus. The crew was very nice and attentive."

I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

Cons: workers know little English compared to ANA from checking in to the flight attendants. I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

And music tracks should be in a tracklist form with song information, not only 1 hour-long tracks of back to back music (with no info). Meals - Mains were ok, deserts were terrible in both of my flights. Snacks were also bad, a scone and beef and cheese sandwich. Very blend, white bread only and oily. We weren't served enough bevarages, so oily and high-carb foods made me very thursty. No water fountains, it'd be great to have some around since staff does not give enough beverage and I was forced to chuck my water before boarding the airplane (the water I bought in the airport after passport check!!!!!!!) It was extremely cold."

Ưu: "I flew PAL 2 years ago and was impressed on this flight home. An awesome added feature that blew me and my 10 year old daughter away was the entertainment! My daughter is afraid of flying. But as soon as we boarded and saw this feature, she completely forgot about her fear. She was so pre-occupied during entire flight to Manila that I was able to relax and enjoy the trip myself. There was a great selection of movies available that almost made me wish the flight was longer so I could watch more! The USB charging option was also a neat feature to have. I could easily charge our phones throughout the flight. I was also impressed with how well staffed the crew was. There was always a crew member going up and down the aisle with water and offering assistance in any way possible. Overall I am happy with the flight. PAL has made the trip home easier, more pleasurable and most importantly closer than ever before. Thank you PAL!"

Delays ranged from 30 minutes to 75 minutes and all four flight delays were reported to be due to delays in getting baggage on the planes or getting the meals loaded on the planes according to the pilot's reports. Of note, on all four flights, the crew ran out of food before getting to our isle and had only one option remaining with no alternatives for those allergic to any portion of the meal. I would absolutely never recommend Philippine Airlines to anyone. The reduced cost of tickets was absolutely not worth the experience."

I moved to the back of the plane where there were 6 open emergency exit seats with no one in front of them. I sat down and was immediately told you had to pay for these seats. I explained the situation and they ended up having me get my receipt to prove I had paid. Overall bad experience."

Nothing more was said until we were now 40 minutes past departure time and the Captain comes on to say we were waiting for a take off slot from the Air Traffic Control!!! No apologies or advice as to what had happened. We finally were on the runway at approx 12 midnight or 1 hr 25 mins late. To top it all I get an email from PAL at 1.56am (I saw this after arrival of course) which said the plane had changed its arrival time to 9.30am - but the departure time remained the same!!! How am I also going to receive an email when I am already flying?? Food was aweful Entertainment system was also aweful - my future flights on PAL will be only a last resort"

They tried to charge me $850 US. For 1 extra bag. After complaint that amount is crazy. They brought the manager over who then told me to bring him $450 in cash and they would accept it Big Scam. After going to the bank machine in the airport and getting the money. The manger put the money in his pocket and took my bag I couldn’t do much because i was about to miss my flight STAY AWAY. From this airline They have some inside scam going on with their employees STAY AWAY. Don’t become a victim like I did

I discovered this by checking myself - chartered a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 and then reduced then quality of every Business Class service (no entertainment system videos or music, no alcohol or soft drinks - only water, only Economy class food. There was no apology from Scoot (who are a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) and none from Singapore Airlines. There was no suggestion of any refunds or other compensation. Truly a disgrace. I will never fly on either Singapore Airlines or Scoot airline again. I am seeking further compensation through Australian Fair Trading and through Class Action Lawyers (as this impacted every passenger on this flight, not just Business Class)"

Still no compensation as promised by the airline when they initially advised us of the late flight. Could do a lot better."

She told him when he got back to Hyderabad that he would be charged as a criminal & be held in a cell all alone without a way to commicate to others. It was absolutely absurd!! We made it back to Hyderabad and like we knew the whole time, his VISA was fine."

To our surprise, we faced a $75/bag checkin fee at the airport, being told registration of baggage at the airport would face a premium fee. Unfair or what...?"

Ưu: "I had a very good experience. When you fly with Jetstar, you need to be aware of a few things: it is a no frills airline. Therefore, (1) you need to eat before you board, bring your own food, or pay for any food / drink on the flight, (2) you have virtually no luggage allowance. Make sure you call them and pay for your luggage BEFORE you go to the airport. The pre-pay prices are very reasonable, but they are dramatically more if you wait to add luggage until arrival at the airport. Overall, the personnel were very friendly, and it was a good flight...just make sure that you are aware of what I just mentioned."

At the gate, was told it was over the 7kg carry on max (was 9.2kg) and required to check... for an additional $60. The $30 I paid previously would not be applied. Complete scam. Friend I was traveling with also paid for a 15kg checked bag upfront, but was only charged $21. I was also concerned about checking as I needed to transfer terminals from domestic to international with a tight connection and since the plane was delayed, had even less time to grab bag, catch train and go thru customs. No consistency. No customer service."
Khuyết điểm: "This is a review of a different flight I took as titled. I tried to write with a previous link but it did not work. During the flight, I went to the washroom and as I was there, the seatbelt light went on. As I was trying to hurry up to finish, the flight attendant started banging on the door telling me I needed to get back to my seat. I replied I was coming (twice) but she kept banging on the door and yelling that I needed to go back now. This happened about 4 times in 30 seconds. I was moving as quickly as I could. She then proceeded to unlock the door - which I then immediately re-locked. And I replied with that I was moving as quick as I could. She then unlocked it again and opened the door about two inches (while I was still on the toilet) and told me I needed to get to my seat. I said yes I’m coming and pulled the door back. There was some turbulence which is why the seatbelt light was lit - however I have never been on an airline that was so abrasive and aggressive like that. I have never been interrupted on the toilet like that when the seatbelt light has gone on. There is a reason the light is also in the washrooms so that customers know the pilots request. I am still so stunned with that response. After the flight had landed, I asked another flight attendant on the same flight about the airline policies in that situation. She said she was surprised that another flight attendant had opened the door on me and I should talk to the manager on flight. When I went to speak to the manager in hopes of her correcting the behaviour of a flight attendant that may not be using best practices, I was informed it it was actually her (Crystal) that had been trying to get me to go to my seat. She was immediately defensive and stood strong in her belief that she needed me to know that I needed to get to my seat right away and she could not hear my response. She said it was a safety concern and wanted to make sure I wasn’t unconscious in the washroom. I pointed out she would have known I was conscious because I had relocked the door after she unlocked it . She came up with another possibility “maybe you were Asian and couldn’t understand English”. I started the conversation calmly and felt she was very defensive from the start. She did verbally apologize, however it was forced, insincere and followed by why she was “in the right”. I don’t know if the above is inline with Jetstars policies however it’s opposite everything I have experienced on any other airline. I told Crystal she made me feel humiliated and that the experience was mortifying and she dismissed that and said it was a safety concern. I hope that this isn’t a jet star policy and that staff can be told how to deal with a situation such as the above. If it is in line with what Jetstar wants their staff to do I will definitely never be flying Jetstar again and advising my friends and family to do the same. The check in man was rude and definitely could've helped a backpacking student as myself out... the flight was practically empty I don't think weight of luggage mattered!"
Ưu: "The flight is like Southeast Airlines, so don't expect any entertainment or special features. The ride was a bit bumpy, but the plane handled the conditions well. The flight was for only 2 hours and 48 minutes. We didn't get anything to eat unless you paid for it; the food didn't look that appealing to me. Overall, I just happy to be in Australia safely."

That extra time made us miss our connecting flight to the US. We spent almost 3 hours in the Sydney airport getting the run around on what we were supposed to do. When we checked in Queenstown for our flight the person at the desk must have know we would not make our flight as she did not give us a boarding pass for the Sydney to the US flight, but gave no directions on what to do if it was missed. I mentioned our connecting flight and the close connection to the flight attendant and she said it was not their fault."

When you book ensure that you pay for one or two pieces of luggage if you don't you will get a rude awakening upon check in. We had to pay an extra $200.00 to get our luggage to Cairns. Ensure you buy luggage if you book a Jetstar flight on the internet."

We had accommodations already set up in Sydney through AirBnB on Coogee Beach. As we anticipated a quick 3 hour flight, we were sadly disappointed to hear the flight would be delayed due to crew scheduling. I understand sometimes thing don't always go as planned and some delays are unforeseen! However, when delays are due to the airlines incompetence of scheduling a crew it is quite frustrating! The 7:35am flight went from being delayed a few hours, to being delayed over 10 hours! Very little information was given to us about the flight and the airline was very unhelpful trying to accommodate us to a different flight to Sydney! We were told that we could be refunded for our flight and book another flight to Sydney.. This was absurd considering a one-way flight to Sydney last minute would run us around $500 and up each! We were offered a $15 food voucher, which basically covered a cup of coffee! After finally boarding the plane and it seemed the airlines incompetence continued! We waited to be taxied out because they didn't have a tug-cart to take us out.. Finally, around 6pm we took off! We arrived at Sydney right around 9pm.. Upon arriving, once again we had to wait for a tug-cart! Finally we got off the plane around 9:15pm! After finally getting through customs and out of the airport, it was now after 10pm and we had lost our booming for our Airbnb booking! We called the airline only to find they were unable to accommodate us for our lost Airbnb accommodation! They were very unhelpful and told us we could book another hotel and if we were lucky, the "may" reimburse us but there is no guarantee! We were now again stuck in the airport for another 12 hours as we waited for our international flight! After my experience with Jetstar, I will never recommend anyone to fly this airline, and discourage them to to so! Very disappointed in their service!"

This was a 10 hour flight and the flight attendants wouldn't even give you water!!! You had to pay $4 a bottle!! That is utterly ridiculous! I just got off an amazing domestic flight with Delta on only a 5 hour flight and they gave us FREE unlimited soft drinks, juice, coffee, tea and WATER!!! They also gave nuts, pretzels and cookies and we're kind enough to give my 3 children extra. Also, to our wonderful surprise their inflight entertainment was free as well! I PAID for inflight entertainment on Jetstar & my TV barely worked! The food was horrendous and ridiculously expensive! When I asked if I could have a cup of water, the flight attendant on Jet star told me to go to the back of the plane and get it myself!!!!! Are you serious??? I went to get it myself and then got yelled at by another flight attendant who told me, " you're not allowed back here!" Get your stories straight Jetstar ugh attendants - or how about you give your passengers FREE water on their 10 hour flight!! Because I had to get the water myself, I then got trapped in the back of the plane because ALL the flight attendants were in the isles for 30 minutes taking the entire planes drink orders & everyone had to pay by credit card! When they weren't in the isles being cashiers, they are found sleeping in the back and knitting! Really? This what I paid for- to watch them sleep & knit??? And me or my family (3 children) couldn't even get water or decent food? Thanks for nothing Jetstar!!! Never again!"

I'm not sure what dictates the difference, as when I printed off the itinerary for the 4 flights we had they all said $28 and no one could give me an explanation of why the change or difference. The bag was in within the standard weight limits. Had I know that I probably would have chosen a different carrier as they weren't that much less expensive."

Khuyết điểm: "It was a long flight (10 hours) without being provided any food or beverage other than water. The prices for the food and beverages will very high. They could have offered at least a beverage other than water for free."
