The flights were delayed by a few minutes, which led to me stressing to make it on time to my flights, and I felt dehydrated and nauseous. Also the website doesn’t specify that we will have to purchase meals either before hand or on board, and that the airlines only took cash and no credit card. It was miserable, a whole 20+ hour flight with lots of stress of catching my flight, checking and the checking my baggage, and being hungry and thirsty because I didn’t carry enough cash on me."

Having an endless supply of mid flight snacks was also appreciatd I always like the warm wet towels, which were offered at take off and landing. The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."

The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

Ưu: "The Denpasar Airport had been closed for days due to Ash/Volcano Agung, so luckily our Flight departed as planned, and on time. Was easily re-assigned a new seat (middle to aisle) at the gate. The staff was attentive and courteous."

We were in Thailand when Bali's Mount Agung erupted and called Cathay Pacific requesting our fees be waived to change our return flight from Denpasar, Hong Kong, Newark to Bangkok-Hong Kong-Newark. Cathay Pacific said the fee to change our flight is $350, and plus the difference in the new ticket price. That option was very expensive. We were very stressed about returning to Bali due to the High Alert warnings. The Denpasar Airport was closed for days -- and our request was not unreasonable."

However I don't see why we would have to ask as we booked a child's seat and you have to provide the age which she is 4. When onboard from SYD/HKG and HKG/LONDON, NO meal was available for our child except for what everyone else was eating. She is anaphylaxis to shellfish, she was given shrimp!!!!! I am sure if she was given a child's meal she would not have got this. We were then told we have to advise the airline 12 hours before we fly that we want a child's meal. I am sorry but when travelling we should not have to do this and nor have we ever had to do it on any other airline. Poor poor poor!!!!"

Cathay has no agent in airport to speak with...must communicate through local airport personnel, who have no information, nor authority to help. Cathay wouldn't track down bag or deliver in readonable amount of time, so we had to go back next day at midnight when nxt plane arrived + hope bags were on it. We were shocked as crew was so organized getting us (people) to connecting flight in Hong Kong. Woman met us at gate and personally led us to connection gate. Only a few gates down in same terminal. In case you're curious: not that we expect Michelin star dining, but the food is dismal. Some of the worst airline food ever. It's like pure sodium + tastes very much like the aluminum can it surely came out of."

Khuyết điểm: "No space in the Kayak booking to make meal requests like vegetarian, so ended up starving and without dinner until I got to the city 4 hours after boarding a late flight because VN Airlines didn't have any vegetarian meals on board. I couldn't even eat the salad as they put salmon on it. Cold bread roll and fruit... Kayak need to have at least the most common fields in the booking like vegetarian meal request."

Ưu: "Lined up, crew took our tickets, we loaded on the bus to bring us to the plane, but the bus just stayed there for 10-15 mins. Then they told us all to get off the bus and go back into the terminal and wait. No explanation or apologies. Waited another 30 mins then everyone lined up again. They never explained what the issue was - it was a bit unsettling. Like, was it a meintamice issue? Should we be worried for our safety? Or was the aircraft simply late/delayed? Upon taxiing and take off the pilot finally said they were delayed from a previous flight and the plane needed to be “checked.” Would’ve like to know that an hour earlier when we first got kicked off the bus."

Khuyết điểm: "This flight seems more and more every time we take an econo flight which, should be cheaper then what you get for pricing. No fluff flight only I can see the different is the baggage weight you can take is only the extra. Seem we stayed on the tar mac for a while flying out and flying in Ho Chi which, the air movement in the cabin was not that great at all and little stuffy and warm. One thing leaving out of Term 3 at Singapore if you go thru Immegration and want to eat the food is not great all and stay away from Burger King and for the 3rd time got sick again! Worst Burger Jiont in the World ever! From no soda, the chicken nuggets tasting like fish, and the Burgees did not taste like burger very sickening! Thier are a rip-off to still wanted everyone to pay full price for the a meal and without no drink and pay extra for water and wanted people to pay for ice. Burger King Co. really need to take hard look at this Joint for very bad foods serving people and getting them sick and ripping people off with money. Seats are small and compact and the seat belt for the airline is small for a bigger person and not meaning over weight."

We had to queue an hour and a half for our boarding pass and check in, which makes it unbelievable how is that possible. We were there early since 815am, and only got our boarding around 10am. We nearly missed our flight as there were queue all around for security check. I guess this is the first and the last time i will travel with Vietnam Airlines."
Khuyết điểm: "We booked the flight for family of 8 Despite informing them over counter in Narita international airport that to place us at 2 together in the same because we have kid of 8 years and 12 years , we were all allocated separately. We could not do online check in even we log in 24 hours before flight ,all seats shown available is individual. Being in the airport early does not help too. I will definitely not consider taking Vietnam airlines in future n will cautious friends to be aware of such service."

Khuyết điểm: "It was HORRIBLE. They had to book us on another flight to Houston and then to Dallas because there were no more direct flights. We arrived at the check in counter at 10 AM. Flight left at 10:40. We were only 5 minutes late for the cutoff after a 15 hour flight with delays that were NOT our fault but were the fault of the airline itself. Our seats were terrible going back and they did not even offer us any kind of voucher to help with the added time and stress of having to wait for another flight and take an extra one."

Getting 30 minutes to make a connecting flight that is on the other side of the airport with noone being able to tell you where your connecting flight is is almost impossible. The in-flight entertainment console was broken and was unusable during the flight. It would work for 5 minutes then glitch and the screen would flash until you stowed it away and waited 10 minutes to try again."

Khuyết điểm: "We departed 1.5 hrs late, over a baggage discrepancy and had to return from the tarmac to the gate, which seemed unnecessary and probably had something to do with the same passenger they were calling every five minutes for over an hour before we even began boarding. We then arrived late, which extremely rushed my already super tight transfer in LAX and cause a lot of stress and frustration with the airline."
Khuyết điểm: "I was forced to rent a van with other people booked on a 9:40 PM flight from Newark to Hartford because one and 1/2 hours after the flight should have left we didn't know if it would leave in 1 and 1/2 hours or be cancelled United was trying new software or something that Sunday night and hundreds of flights were affected."

The flight was uneventful, which is really good! I also had the entire row to myself which gave me room to spread out for the 13 hour flight. Great experience:)"

Khuyết điểm: "First boarding was aborted and passengers were sent back up jetway to waiting area. This was due to a mechanical issue with the plane, which I am glad they noticed and took care of. However, getting to the plane's door and then being told to go back to the waiting area was unpleasant."
