My flight was scheduled on July 24th 2022, I went to PAL laoag the day prior to pay for an extra baggage ($165) as a check-in. On the day of the flight, one of the customer representatives in the PAL laoag airport put me on waiting after I had checked in and told me I had to check-in with the immigration due to my overstay...I am a dual citizen of the United states and the Philippines and questioned the staff, after 30 minutes of waiting the staff member said I could go to the terminal and they will call my name to see if I was eligible to take the flight back home...after learning of such nonsense, the staff proceed to tell me that one of my boxes will be held back due to the high flux of cargo being carried by the plane to Manila. At that point I was very upset, what was the point in paying $165 for an extra baggage if the laoag airport was going to hold it back. Today is July 27th and I have been calling PAL for the last three days to pick my luggage up. They had informed me in the PAL airport in laoag that if in case our luggage was held back, our luggage would arrive the next day and a call would come from the Honolulu airport. I have not received a phone call for the past three days and will make a 2nd attempt to pick my luggage up today at the airport. I'm hoping someone can help us here in the Honolulu airport because this experience has been a nightmare. Advise to anyone who is flying from Laoag, Philippines to Honolulu just keep to your 2 free check-in baggage because there is a high possibility that your extra check in will be held back in Laoag and be put in this situation.

Then the new line only had one agent working all of the people who needed to pay for their bags. When we got to the front, we were asked to pay the bag fee with a credit card and the processing fee in cash. Since we were only connecting in Singapore, of course we did not have cash. She could not process the charge, walked us over to a new desk and a new line where they processed the bag charge without the cash fee (how this wasn't done initially, I have no idea) and finally, we were finished with the check in process an hour later."

It there for cost me $48 to book the bag on at the airport one way back. For some reason when I was paying they could not take for the full amount on my CC and so I had to go change money as $8 had to be paid cash (very strange). The flight was very uncomfortable. I could go into detail but now I’m just ranting. Not happy. Won’t be doing that again."

If you pay at the counter it will cost you $100. The woman at our gate was completely alone, and clearly frustrated by the situation and kept radio-ing for information about where the rest of her crew was. They are flying 787 Dreamliner now and just squeezing as many people as they can on them. I am a 5’10” female and my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. Want to recline your seat? Go ahead, but the bottom of the seat now slides forward as well to compensate for the lack of space. So if you’re tall like myself, you can’t recline your seat because it forces your knees further into the seat in front of you. Lastly, they have this ‘amazing entertainment service’. It’s $8 to watch a movie or play a game of solitaire. Such a scam. Water is the only drink included and the power outlet in my seat didn’t work. They are exactly what they have always been, but dressed up nicer, cheap and crappy airline looking to make as much money as possible. Won’t be flying with them again. For the money I paid to check a bag plus ticket cost, I could have flown a much nicer airline. will do next time!"

There is a cost for anything on board, even water. We had to dispose all our water before security check in. I would never travel with Jetstar again in the future."

I even placed my bag in the sizer at the gate but she still told me it was too large and "too heavy" although she did not weigh nor pick up my bag. About 5 minutes prior I had seen her walk a guitar that had been gate checked down to the plane. My bag was not so lucky. I arrived at Avalon and my bag didn't. My bag was going to arrive on the next plane which wasn't coming in for 3 hours. We were staying about an hour from the airport and boarding an early morning flight from Tullamarine to Los Angeles. Deliveries of missed luggage ceased 2 hours before my bag was due at the airport and didn't commence until after I was due at Tullamarine the next morning. The flight attendant who made me check my bag was on my flight and easily could have told me my bag wouldn't be making it on our flight but she didn't. She was rude, smug, and unaccomodating. The customer service representative at Avalon, Debbie, was more than helpful trying to figure out the best option for me to retrieve my luggage before my flight home to Los Angeles. She made a stressful situation a little less so. Thank you Debbie!"

I paid extra for in-flight entertainment. My flight from Denpasar to Sydney did not have working entertainment; however, I did not get a refund for my entertainment purchase. The flight from Sydney to Denpasar had complimentary entertainment; again, no refund for the entertainment purchase."
Khuyết điểm: "I will never fly Jetstar again!! ONLY AFTER I BOOKED AND PAID, the system allowed me to book my baggage. Imagine my disgust when I was charged over $100 per bag!! If I had known the outrageous baggage charge, I would not have used this airline, and I never will again."

Many passengers were traveling with excess luggage but lady got picky with us for last kg. Had to throw so much of our stuff, gifts/souvenirs that we bought during our sydney/melbourne vacation."
Khuyết điểm: "I arrived from the international terminal before my first flight with Jetstar with my suitcase and backpack and was told to pay >$300 in additional bag fees. Not only that, the staff person insisted that I check in my backpack (not a large backpack) and then pay a large sum for checking it in. Jetstar staff are CROOKS- there was no need to check in the standard size backpack. The staffperson also LIED- I said that I would store the bag at the airport and the staffperson said it would cost the same. NOT TRUE. There is an option to store the bag at the hotel for MUCH LESS."

Khuyết điểm: "They lost my baggage payment fee before check in. They then charged me 200 dollars to check my bag even though I paid the fee online beforehand. I had the charge to prove it. When I called the company to discuss both charges, they refunded the pre-charge because the 200 fee was more. Avoid at all costs Also seat was unclean and flight was 1 hour delayed"

Khuyết điểm: "service was hit and miss, one fa asked us to wait to pick up the finished food while she was not doing anything, while the other fa was very thoughtful and asked us if we would want to have the rubbing collected. a bumpy landing experience, maybe it was controlled by a rookie first officer rather than the captain from the decending part. 2 passengers were ill and required assistance after landing."
