Even if the sun is bright, you can still look out and enjoy the view. I love this feature of the 787 and am always a little disappointed when I'm back in any other aircraft."

I had an exchange ticket from Qatar airways, which meant I had the boarding pass for the Alaska airways flight. It took 40 minutes to get me and another passenger onto the flight because it didn’t have us listed as a passenger on the flight.

I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

I was expecting better from Qatar - back to Emirates I go!"

The Doha airport is an architect's Ego Trip and badly laid out, extremely long walks to get anywhere, ferocious prices for anything (carry snacks for your layover!). The smoking lounge doesn't even have a proper exhaust system so smoke permeates the terminal in the vicinity. Plus 4 bar stools hogged by rude, arrogant young Arab men who have NO respect or consideration for elders, disabled, etc. Incident with boarding passenger in Saigon was VERY badly handled & delayed departure over an hour, risking connections for a number of passengers. They cannot handle things well, yet crew is basically nice, kind. Food is AWFUL; saving grace is fresh fruit, roll & butter, yoghurt - the nice little side dishes."

I would be more concerned if my flight had a close connection if this is a standard practice. This was my first flight with Qatar. If the practice is standard I won't keep flying them."

Manila to Dubai business class aircraft is too tight. Tv remote not directly connected. Difficult to maneuver from the seat. Need to go to screen to tap. Was looking for the health kit given everytime we take business class to Europe but no longer there. Food at lounge was mediocre. Crew was friendly and helpful. Flight was smooth.

Also, there were no vegetarian options for those who didn't book a special meal in advance. I am a star alliance member with Qatar and love their service. I didn't think Emirates would be below that standard because I have heard a lot about the airline and decided to fly them for a change. I was told that if there was any vegetarian option left behind I would get one but the steward didn't even have the decency to come back to tell me there wasn't any left. For the breakfast the steward was much nicer and was able to provide me with a vegetarian option."

People were just following blindly as the group moved, finally everyone was led out of the airport after immigration cancellation, then to baggage claim where we had to collect all checked in big bags and board a bus to take us to hotel . The hotel was good but getting there with the big bags for just a few hours and then the flight was scheduled for night (12 hrs later than original schedule) They could have just held the checked in baggage with them, or arranged an alternate aircraft to arrive sooner."

Khuyết điểm: "After traveling for 19 hours from Washington DC to Karachi, , They lost by luggage. They asked me to come and collect it after 6 hours. Went to the airport could see my luggage sitting in the trolley but still made me wait another 3 hours. NO COMPENSATION / NO APOLOGIZES Going back from Karachi to Washington DC, passenger besides me had a child in his lap throughout the flight. That passengers arm and legs were in my part of the seat throughout the flight. I could not sit or eat or relax. The child in the lap kept on touching me and the food I had on the tray as was unable to eat it. I weigh 165 but the seats are so small that one has to struggle. When back Dulles airport, had to weight for 1.5 hours for the bag to arrive @ thanks to big jumbo A380 aircraft. First class were priority. They checked in first, got their luggage first on a different belt, rest were treated like third class people. Never wasting my $ in this airline."

Khuyết điểm: "When I was boarding on my 14 hour flight from Dubai to the US, I was briefly informed by the Emirates boarding staff that my seat had been changed. I had specifically chosen my aisle seat because I like to stand often on long flights, so I was concerned that it had been changed. When I tried to get more information from the staff member, he dismissively said "Ma'am, this is a good seat" and handed me my ticket without even making eye contact. There was no apology or courtesy of any kind. I ended up with a window seat and I had to crawl over two other people throughout the 14 hour flight to use the restroom or stretch my legs. I expected more courtesy from the staff for this kind of inconvenience and will rethink my flight plans in the future to avoid Dubai."

On my way to New York, I was brought to the lounge to wait until my boarding will start but nobody picked me up as promised, so I had to walk the way. I needed a wheel chair as well on my way back, extra ordered it at the check in, they said it is noted in the system. But nobody was there to pick me up. When I finally found someone, I was brought to a place, being asked to sit down and wait where I still had to pass stairs to come to the passport controll. From there noone picked me up, so I had to go my way alone with pain in my leg. I don't want to argue, I managed it even with pain but I wonder what happens with people if they cannot walk anymore at all. My advice would be that you work on to improve this service. We extra booked business class but this service was not worth being called business class."

The solution is very easy as you can setup the screen to your language and the computer can choose to show you only the announcements that is in your language that make sense to you."

As a result I arrived "punctual" at the gate exactly 1 h too late, the flight left without me. Neither Turkish Airlines nor Royal Air Maroc (operating this flight) attempted to contact me via my cell phone. Disappointing."
Ưu: "Turkish Airlines offers an experience much better than your average two-hour plane hop in the U.S. There was a full meal served, staff were kind and didn’t try to sell a bunch of extra stuff to you, and there were many choices for in-flight entertainment."

In addition, the flight was delayed by 1 full hour and when we arrived in Vienna our luggage (and the luggage of many other passengers) had not been sent with us. We waited in line for luggage for 30 minutes, then another line for at least 30 more minutes to report the missing bag, and we were then told that it wouldn’t arrive for another day and would be delivered to us within a 3 hour window in the middle of the day. This was essentially an entire night and day lost to a mishap that the airline didn’t even notify us of when we landed. Pretty frustrating."

Also, they were much to late in turning on the air conditioning as we loaded and waited for takeoff."

Same woman made me move to sit with friends. Staff had no ear plugs."

Khuyết điểm: "This is one of the worst airlines I have flown with. I travel internationally frequently, I had used Turkish Airlines on a domestic flight in Turkey back in the 90's. It was a decent experience. So I decided to book my flight to Athens with Turkish Airlines. I bought a nonstop flight from LAX to with one and a half hour layover in Istanbul and then flying to Athens on the same day. I was assigned bulkhead seats on the way over. On the day of the Parcher at the Turkish airline counter in LAX I was informed that my seat assignments were changed. The agent could not/ would not give me a satisfactory answer as to why! During the course of the same conversation I was also informed that my layover Istanbul is not 1 1/2 hours, instead it is seven hours and I will be flying out to Athens The following day. My flight was randomly changed to a later flight without my knowledge! After a long wait at the ticketing counter, the manager switched us back to the original itinerary. Sadly it doesn't end here. The take off was about an hour and a half delayed. This was about exactly the same amount of time I had as layover Istanbul airport. I asked several flight attendants about how will Turkish Airlines will handle this delay as my connection to Athens was in jeopardy. Again not one flight attendant could give me a straight answer. Some said "well hopefully you will make it to the next flight". One said "the pilot we will make up for the lost time". I also noticed that my original bulkhead seat assignments were given to three ladies who were friends of a first class flight attendant! it was really annoying to watch the flight attendant bring them treats from the first class kitchen area. It was clear that our seats were intentionally switched as a special favor. Long story short, upon arrival we were told that the our connecting flight is at gate 501 only to find out there was no plane at the gate!! We never found out what happened to our original connection to Athens, but we ended up waiting an additional 5 1/2 hours in the airport for then next day flight. No explanation given, no accommodations provided, no apologies!"

Biggest issue is the baggage claim in Sacramento. I flew business class with a priority tag on the luggage, yet my bag was the very last to come off the belt. Why don't they follow the tags and actually pay attention to the priority tags and get those off first as other airports are able to do.
Better management of the boarding line and the crew should check for trash more often
When we checked in at Calgary- there were only 3 people intially. Then, 2 left and only 1 old man was left. He tried to move through the line, but could not clear us fast enough. About 50 people were stuck and not able to get boarding passes or luggage checked. We missed out flight. The scene was chaotic. Then, those of us who missed the flight were not able to get help as he was now trying to get the next people on the SLC flight through. We were so upset. Poorly run.
The flight was cancelled without any notification at the last minute, causing a scramble of insanity as they rebooked all of us on other carriers. We’re standing in line waiting to check bags, kiosks not working, attendants don’t have any information.

Khuyết điểm: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."
Ưu: "Boarding in St Thomas is always a mess, no matter what airline you fly. I usually fly Delta because the planes are clean and the people are nice. Well this time the staff went well above and beyond. My friend and I were sitting in the front row of seats in the lounge at the airport, facing the Delta gates. There was a mob of people milling about between us and the gate, so we could not see very well, but we thought we had a clear view of the door. Also it was very loud in the terminal. The flight had a delay, so we were relaxing and chatting, when I got a text from my mom asking if I was on the plane. So I went to the counter to inquire if they had started boarding our flight. The lady looked at me with surprise and said, "We have been paging you!!". Well we were both surprised! We had not heard anything over the general din in the airport. It turns out they had completed boarding and already rolled the stairs away from the plane! The ground staff talked to the captain and then they rolled up a set of stairs, opened the door to the plane, and let us on! The flight attendants said that they had never seen that happen before. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the crew at Delta for going the extra mile to make sure we made it on our flight."

I had to find a shuttle to another terminal the shuttlesare not marked it was very confusing"
Ưu: "GRU to ATL to LEX - all was fine. The plane from GRU to ATL was one of the nicer jets I have ridden in. The ratings above reflect my overall trip of going to Sao Paulo and returning to Lexington, even though the first part had to be re-booked on United."

While Delta re-booked me on United, my flight arrived 3 hours later than scheduled (so transportation plans had to change), my bag did not successfully move from the Delta flight to the United flight (and was thus delayed in getting to GRU) AND once the bag was received, 4 shirts had been stolen. While a delay/theft claim has been filed with United, this could all have been avoided if the Delta flights had been on time."
