Everything run smoothly, very happy with the experience of flying with the airline.
Good was excellent, I enjoyed juices well, only draw back is I felt travel was too long, I was in flight for 22 plus hours where as with other airlines max hours were 18. Not sure if that was weekend, quasar, Emirates, ethihad flights are at same time, checking, immigration and boarding took another 2 to 3 hours with all these inconvenience I felt my travel was too long, otherwise I enjoyed food and hospitality excellent

As in Doha have different seating area for different zones and the ground crew should be trained to be firm to allow only passengers with boarding."

My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."
Khuyết điểm: "I was not given any option regarding the change of my departure flight from Colombo. Originally it was scheduled for 13th 3.25AM and it was brought forward to 12th night 20.20. This caused inconvenience to me and my family to wait 7 hours for the connecting flight to Johannesburg from Doha. When the flight is changed by airline for their convenience, they would have given preferential treatment to the passengers involved. We had to bare the cost of food and make us comfortable on our own due to the delay in transit."

Better information about the delay due to screening for US
Had I paid full fare for my Business ticket instead of upgrading from Economy, I’d be asking for my money back. Emirates are seemingly renowned for their Business Class product however in this case it was pretty poor and I’d say even BA or Virgin Premium Economy is a better product. The cabin on the 777-300 is dated and lack of private screen means that if you start a film before someone next to you, you can see what’s coming but even worse, as there was no amenity kit with an eye mask it’s hard to sleep with two bright screens in front of you. The food was mediocre and well below anything I’ve had on BA or any US carrier with only a single meal service offered on a 7 hour flight. Seriously unimpressed and would not travel Emirate again.
Great flight, friendly staff and good food
All up to great standard for Economy seats. Appreciated careful approach to COVID protocols and efficient service throughout. Also minimum delays at Dubai. Will definitely consider Emirates first for next UK/Europe trip! Only improvement could be the breakfasts being too starchy - too many breads, rolls etc, otherwise good.

As frequent travelers, I am aware rules change and am willing to comply. Started my trip on a negative note which was avoidable. I have found the training crew get and the ground staff get are disparate. As efficient as the onboard crew are, the ground staff in DXB and now NYC do not match up."

They don’t offer much to eat for a 6:40 am flight. It was a drink and a cookie. They could’ve offered more to eat. I am comparing this to KLM who we flew into Florence with.
My experience was good but we left late from NY and missed our connection to Palermo and were rerouted through Zurich. We went from Zurich to Palermo on Swiss Air. The representatives at the gate harassed us and would not let us bring on our carry on bags stating the plane was fully packed which was not true. There were many empty seats and plenty of over head storage. I have never been treated in such a way.
Lufthansa canceled a segment of my 3-leg journey. After waiting (no exageration) 5 hours for a Lufthansa agent to come onto chat, they informed ne that only a travel agent could work with them to find a replacement itinerary...then they disconnected the chat. Next day, email notified me that they had fixed my itinerary by providing a train voucher, and recommended that I "select a train that gets me to Munich with enough time to check for my next connection". By the time we did baggage pickup, customs, and passport control, that non-existent train would have to travel 1,000km/hr to make that happen. ... and oh yes, only a travel agent could work with them try to find a later connection for me, AND I'd have to pay the difference between my advance-booked fare and a last-minute fare. So I paid for a second set of tickets.
The crew was very helpful on the plane.

Got to the ticket counter at 8:35 and my flight my was set to take of at 9:30. There wear others in the same boat as me, we where all flying with American. I will Never ever fly with American again! The Lady was so rude then she said we were disgrutle when we ask to speak to a manger about trying to board even though or flight didnt leave until 9:30. Not Military Friendly at all. So I ran down to Lufthansa and talk with a guy at the ticket counter that was understanding of the sistuation, he told me what to do once a Book my trip through Kayak he checked me in and got me right to the front and on the plane for the next flight that left 2 hours after my missed flight. I book my trip and got through Tsa all before my flight with american even took off. When I boared the plane the cabin crew was very helpful and laughing and joking with the passagners their smiles brighten my day and made me feel at easy. I was stressed out about missing my flight with American Airlines and that lady at the ticket counter that when on got my flight with Lufthanse I felt like they were my friends and that I have been flying with them before. I will always use Lufthansa when fliying back home back to the states! Thank you to flight crew and men and women at the ticket counters!!"

When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

It became pretty obvious that we were cutting very close to the boarding time for our next flight (arrival scheduled for 4:05 pm and our flight to Chicago barding on 4:20 pm). One of the flight attendants kindly offered us to move up to the front seats of the plane on the last 15 minutes of the flight (with our luggage) so that we can exit as soon as possible. We moved (per his suggestions) and we were treated rudely by the young lady attendant of the Business Class. We explained that we moved after the suggestion of their other flying attendant. She called her supervisor on us, who in return, rudely, arrogantly and loudly started to berate us on how we "dared" to move ourselves to the Business class. After explaining the whole story again and showing her the tickets, she allowed us to stay to those seats for the last 10 minutes of the flight. We asked if an airport cart could be called to transfer us to the next gate, and they said no. We asked for information on the gate for Chicago and they did not provide one. Unfortunately, the plane landed very far from the gates. We had to enter the airport bus, which traveled for about 15 minutes before we got on a gate. There, we faced about 35 minutes of passport procedures and waiting lines. At that point, 5 minutes before our plane for Chicago was supposed to take off, we asked the passport pre-check officer what we should do (we assumed we would be missing the plane at that point) and he told us very rudely "When you REALLY miss your plane, then come back and ask me"!!!!!!!!! Then we passed through passport check and we were told to run to our gate (which by that time was no longer showing on the computer screen, and we knew about the changed number, ONLY because KAYAK sent the update to us-THANK YOU!!!). We ran for about 12 minutes. We arrived at our gate late by about 25 minutes after our flight was supposed to leave. There we were asked why we were running and when we told the guy who screened our boarding passes he responded "Well, running is good for your health..."!!!!! At that point I would have liked to give him a piece of my mind...We were told by the same guy that due to airport security issues, Frankfurt airport had so many delays in the last couple of weeks that planes know to wait for the late passengers. Couldn't someone have told us that before? We have NEVER been treated so poorly by an airline and we will NOT fly with them again. The LUFTHANSA customer service was terrible. We have not encountered such arrogance and lack of information for many years...Shame on them! AND we were not the only Americans running. There were families with little children and older people, etc etc, just because the Lufthansa attendants and ground crew did not feel like giving us the information we needed!!!"

We got off our flight from Glasgow to London and it was on time. By the time we got through TSA we missed our connection flight. It was horrible. There was not reason why we should have missed it. We landed 1 1/2 hours before our connection flight. One of our passengers had a stroller on board and had to wait like 30 minutes for them to get it off the plane. What a complete disaster. We had to get re-routed on a flight to Dallas Texas and get a flight the next day from Dallas to Miami causing us distress and the cost of getting 2 hotel rooms. It would be appreciated if this airline would cover the cost of the hotel rooms at a bare minimum. Best Regards, Andrew Feinberg
Booking was great! But my daughter was asked to change flights when she got in the airport for 7am flight. The British airline told her she did not have a ticket from Glasgow to London , they did not let her board at all. She is still in Glasgow even she had packed everything and returned her apartment keys. At this time, she was told she can leave on May 27th. How does she know the same thing would not happen again on May 27th? She had bad experience with this trip. Would you be able to help her to make sure she can board on 5/27? I am her Mother, I booked the round trip flights. She did not have any troubles from Nashville to Glasgow. But she is past due to come back. Please help her to get back ASAP. Thank you so much!
The cabin crew was amazing. The two hour delay after boarding due to a “maintenance issue” was not.

Also, there was no distancing IN the airport during boarding. It's NOT DIFFICULT to put tape marks on the ground to ensure physical distancing. It is THEIR responsibility to make sure the process is safe, since half of the people seem to not care about distancing (or mask wearing). I'm incredibly disappointed and I will be flying Southwest for the time being: I hear they're better at enforcing distancing."

Flight attendants were sloppy and never brought me anything I asked. I asked for lactose free meal and my breakfast was a yogurt... Not worth the price I paid for this flight... stay away!!"

Khuyết điểm: "We booked a BA flight from Pittsburgh to Glasgow, through Philadelphia. We intentionally chose BA because we anticipated good service. We later learned that the flight was serviced by American. Our original flight was delayed one day because we missed our connection due to weather on the East Coast (after six hours at the airport). American re-ticketed us for a flight the next day. After several misstarts in Pittsburgh, we arrived in Philadelphia with minutes to spare. After running to the gate, we were then greeted with what turned out to be a four hour delay. Then, upon return, we learned that our seat selections/priority boardings were all deleted because of the re-ticketing on the on the flight out, and we spent hours on the phone and at the airport trying to get things sorted out and ensure that we had a return flight. One of the worst trips ever in my experience."

Another problem - which is probably related to Heathrow airport and outside of the crew's control - was that the staff at the airport rushed us tremendously during boarding, saying that the flight would close half an hour in advance. I had never seen boarding close that early and it was very frustrating, because the boarding then took a very long time, since they searched us for no reason, and our flight ended up taking off 30 minutes late! As passengers, we felt very rushed, it seems, for no reason."

Turbulence was not bad at all and all they offered was water and juice after the initial service. Crew was short with passengers and movie selections were pretty lame. I was interested in the last movie, but it was shut off half way through."

After about 30 mins or more later someone finally passed by that was going to ask for trash. I asked for my food and they apologized and brought back a pasta option and said they were sorry that they ran out of chicken. So I was made to wait for half an hour while everyone ate to NOT get what I wanted and be forgotten about?! Unacceptable. Took me another 30 mins to get my appetite back since I was so upset. Also, our flight left an hour later!!! No one said anything to us about why we were late. They accommodated those with connecting flights in the US but still. What is going on?"

The initial leg of my journey from Glasgow to London Heathrow via British Airways was good and parts of it were excellent. However, Heathrow turned out to be a nightmare exactly like what we're seeing in the media. Area hotels are advising guests to allow 4 hours at the airport before ALL flights. The problems are too numerous to list here. Hopefully they will be able to sort it out in the near future. American Airlines which partners with British Airways was some of the worst customer service I've seen in a while. They closed the gate early despite the fact airport staff tried to tell them multiple passengers were delayed at no fault of their own. They turned a deaf ear and packed the flight with standbys. Of course, then they held the flight on the tarmac while they removed all the luggage from those of us left behind. We were sent to the desk to rebook. American Airlines closed their stations a couple hours later with dozens still waiting and walked away. British Airways stayed and did everything possible to take care of us. After 7 1/2 hours, I was finally able to get a flight out 3 days later. Now I'm cooling my heels in an airport hotel (thanks to BA). I would love to see London, but I'm just to worn out from negotiating this chaos. If I were grading this it would be British Airways (A) and American Airlines (D-). In the summer of 2022, TRAVELER BEWARE!!

I also flew BA from London to Seattle (part of same trip) and the on-board meal & drink service was PHENOMENAL - the best I have had on an airline in years, and I did not get charged for anything, including alcoholic beverages. How can this be the same airline?"
