Food is probably the best I’ve had in the sky I like that they serve it in the morning instead at late night, lots of drinks to chose from. but the promised Haagen Dazs ice cream never came. Seat was very wide as it is 2-4-2 compared to 3-3-3 for all other Airlines’ 787, the IFE box makes the under seat storage slightly lacking. Touchless flush is a plus.

It was good, better than most US airlines.

Only thing i have to said is rough landing and food is not great so does the entertainment.

Flight was delayed. Food is not good. Crew are confuse and it’s not Japan airlines that I know of.

Both I and another passenger who flew JAL the weekend before found the vegetarian food poor - very bland and too salty. The exact same menu all four times we flew. A pity as the rest of the service wa excellent. If JAL wishes to attract more international customers it would be a good idea for it to broaden its global perspective and provide better vegetarian options. I know others who've had similar concerns about other types of special meal."
Ưu: "From start to finish, we were amazed by the customer service of Japan Airlines. Altogether we we had a 14-hour day or so of flying with two small children and it could have easily been a 20-hour-or-more day of flying had Japan Airlines not been so great at what they do. We can't say enough about how amazed and blessed we were by their customer service."

The plane was completely full, and my husband and I had to sit in separate rows - I was never able to switch the seats, even though I called several times and tried at the airport as well. Entertainment selection not as good as the American flight out. The JAL website (English version at least) is not very easy to use."

Ưu: "What sets JAL apart is the quality of service both on the ground and in the air. As customers, even in economy, no request was too minor to be treated as the most important of the day. Both legs were on time, the meals were excellent, and the chouce of movies was more than adequate. I will fly with JAL again."

Also the plane was not as big and older so we didn't have the touch screen. We were quite impressed on our Honolulu to Hong Kong flight, then were a little let down on our haneda to Honolulu flight."

The planes were nice. That’s about it. I was very disappointed in the service which was not good. For a long haul flight, they did not provide 2 full meals. After about an hour into the flight they served a tiny tortilla vegetable wrap and drink of choice. Im not exaggerating when I say it was tiny. At first I thought wow what a treat to get an appetizer, but that’s all they served!! In all my long haul travels this is a first. What happened to the first meal?? The second meal (which was not good at all) was served 2 hours before landing at lax. Then there was not any amenity kits given out at least a toothbrush and toothpaste. Nothing was given out. Well I guess that makes sense since no first meal was served. The crew didn’t have any snacks on board or offered any I received more food on my first flight from Manila to Haneda. Seriously this has to be a mistake on someone’s part. Japan Airlines which I flew recently, certainly provided better service food and a toothbrush!!! Actually any flight does like delta American and Korean Air. Even China Southern? What happened to ANA supposedly 5 stars on Skytrax?

Khuyết điểm: "Two key issues: 1. Split up seating 2. Required to pick up and check baggage with limited time due to customs check. 1. They split up all four of our seats (despite booking more than 30 days in advance). Our seven (7) year old daughter was by her self. So was our fifteen (15) year old son. When we addressed it to baggage check (part of major issue number 2), they put two seats together, across an aisle, with both children in them. We obviously just sat one of the adults with the seven year old. This was not just us. SEVERAL families had children seated alone and spread all over the plane. ANA needs to require grouped seating for children under thirteen (13) years old with an adult. 2. Tokyo Haneda is the only airport I can think of where I have to pick up and check baggage again just to clear customs. The flights were 1 hour and 45 minutes apart. With nearly an hour dedicated to getting baggage claimed and getting through customs, we barely had time to fix two of our split seats (see issue 1) and rush via a free bus route that took 6 minutes (luckily we were first stop) to get us to domestic terminal 2. We were then lucky again because we made it through security quickly and our gate happened to be right next to the security check we chose. Another side piece: Haneda Domestic Terminal 2 has four security check areas (A-D). We saw no identifying marks indicating which were closest to which gate. Our bags have already been through a bag check process. Feel free to run them through security scans. Don’t make us wait to collect them just to walk them through the customs desk and check them again."

But when the ANA agents came out, they have no clue and serve the line of the people arriving later. Should know what they are doing. Either just 1 line, or if 2 lines, should ask which line come first"

A long haul flight needs roomy and comfortable seats.

ALX check in staff unprofessional attitude, unaware the employer rules & regulations and so much traylers suffer due to check it n staff non guidance approach

The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Khuyết điểm: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Need to warn on the website or ticket security requires remove casing at Doha to usa. Had no issue from USA TO Doha which requires no removal of hard cover casing."

Ưu: "B777 Dreamliner is dreamy. Lots of overhead luggage space. Decent leg room (could always be more). Great individual entertainment screen for long transcontinental flights. Flight staff was a mixed international crew, very friendly, unpretentious, polite and just nice compared to other airlines. The planes they use seem very new. Would definitely recommend Qatar Air over Aeroflot any day."

Although I was pleased that some of the flights used metal flatware, but still too much waste in the industry in my opinion. Also, the headphone jack was not compatible with my headphones. The type used on the 777 is the dual pronged one. I did not have an adapter so had to use the crappy headphones that are provided."

I and a random group of passengers were made to wait with no explanation AFTER our electronics were already cleared to go through yet another security check. They said we were selected for screening but all the other people they took before us were screened the exact same way. It was stressful and traumatizing to stand for 45 minutes with no clear explanation. The crew were clearly new at their job or ill trained. On top of that they consistently ran out of food they were serving and was forced to take the vegetarian option when it's not what I wanted. I could not wait to leave Doha and exit Qatar airways. I hated my experience traveling with Qatar. It was stressful and traumatic. I want a full refund. I will also be advising all my friends to never fly Qatar. It was the WORST!"

Khuyết điểm: "The luggage management system was terrible. We had to wait 2 extra hours for a single carry-on that we had to check in before our 15 hour flight. After a 24 hour journey, it is really inconsiderate to add extra hours to the journey. For luggage, I would give a 1, very poor rating for Qatar Air."

Ưu: "The staff was amazing! I started I get a headache- probably because of low blood sugar, and one of the attendant provided me with constant water, ginger ale, and chocolates. It was so sweet- she didn't have to make sure I was okay, but she chose to our the kindness of her heart!"
Khuyết điểm: "The cramped quarters. I had a very tall person sit practically on my lap the entire flight, as he leaned his chair back the entire time. It left no room for me to use the table for my laptop. I was fortunate that no one sat next to me on my first flight, but for the second one I was not so lucky – so I couldn't work on my schoolwork."

My Complimentary upgrade was greatly appreciated, and the staff were courteous, attentive and friendly.

Usual American mechanical issues. 3 hour delay, then boarded, sat at the gate for an hour, deplaned, boarded a new plane, waited another 30 minutes before take off.

It was all good

AA had the flight attendants for this flight coming from an international flight. The flight ended up being an hour delayed bc of the flight attendants needing to go through customs. AA should be able to plan better. Once they arrived, all flight attendants seemed annoyed. A gentleman had to remind them on snacks, which they passed out as we started to land. The gate crew was also fairly rude and made fun of people frustrated the flight was so delayed for such an easily fixable reason.

Need better snacks. Just pretzels isn’t going to cut it.

First time I have ever come across such a problem. Absolutely terrible."
