Movie selections very poor. Lots of talk about social distancing before boarding and then in economy class we are packed in like sardines.
I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". I lost my non-refundable hotel money and didn't get the ticket to go to Hong Kong. It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it."

Ưu: "The flight was less busy than usual (it was an Easter Sunday departure) and so service was a bit more relaxed and friendly than usual instead of just efficient. Left gate a few minutes early and arrived 20 min early in Tokyo. Flight time is pretty good - 8pm departure which gives time for a relaxed day sightseeing in Dusseldorf before going to the airport in the late afternoon, Arrival in Tokyo is about 2pm which would be a good time to check in to hotels and relax. Food was good - dinner after take-off and a brunch-type meal a few hours before landing. Entertainment system is also very good although I'd flown a lot recently so seen the films I wanted to see already. Sometimes ANA are just "good" but this one was the best one I've flown recently."

Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

I think this was the most disappointing because the language barrier was frustrating when needing help going the right direction and having questions about checking in. The food was OK. The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

Khuyết điểm: "Online check-in is the worst. The needed information properly inputted does not mean that you are checked in. Despite live chat support, the online check-in is not user friendly. It is the slowest, doesn't make sense program. It is not intuitive. Not a smart application but dumb."

Spent an hr and a half checking in 4 people, had asked me what I wanted to do for a name discrempancy (Will vs William) on my travel docs (fix it! I'm going to fly today!), and no wheel chair assistance after already requesting for it a week before."
Khuyết điểm: "Actually two flights: Vancouver to HK was sardine class - really, really tight. Entertainment system was an iPad - ok, I guess, and at least it worked until you had to return it as landing commenced. Food was not good, though it had a few bits that were good. Service was quite good. Landing: bounced really high, though weather was good and the craft had flown really smoothly up to then."

Ưu: "We were traveling Hanoi-Hong Kong...Looking at HK airlines website I found that my flight to/from HongKong to Southwest Pacific should be 30kg.Whe I got to airport to check in the agent said it was 20kg...I showed him the website...He claims southwestPacific is Aus/New Zealand even though Aus/NZ had there own category under Zone 3...It was very confusing and could have been quite expensive as they charge $10/kg excess weight.Other than that it was a nice experience.."
Ưu: "Ability to use headphones and electronic devices on flight. Chinese carriers, like china southern currently do not allow use of any electronics even those with flight mode. HK airport is a very easy and efficient airport to transit through or arrive at. Only singapore is easier."

All Asia countries and airlines rely on middle names and we had to get our tickets reissued in Hanoi after 10 minutes discussing with supervisor at the counter. We were very lucky they did not charge for reissuing the ticket. HK airlines did not allow our child seat even though it is FAA approved. Also made us check our baby stroller which is small enough to go under the seat because it did not have a cover. Finally connection too short so luggage did not make our connecting flight."

Flights in time, crew is nice, value for money
They tried to charge me $850 US. For 1 extra bag. After complaint that amount is crazy. They brought the manager over who then told me to bring him $450 in cash and they would accept it Big Scam. After going to the bank machine in the airport and getting the money. The manger put the money in his pocket and took my bag I couldn’t do much because i was about to miss my flight STAY AWAY. From this airline They have some inside scam going on with their employees STAY AWAY. Don’t become a victim like I did
They were short staffed with no managers on duty. Closed baggage check early causing me to miss my flight.
Scoot is always great value for money.
Instead of the flight attendants talking to each other they should have been monitoring the passengers. The person beside me took a phone call literally 30 seconds before the plane landed. As we were going down the runway ( from landing ) a person in the row in front of me and behind me made phone calls; CRAZY
The crew was very attentive, friendly and efficient.

The Flight Crew got us to our destination 10 mins ahead of schedule, considering also that we were 15 mins behind sitting on the runway for take off, which in effect meant they made up 25 mins. Fantastic job. The Aircraft was clean and well maintained. The seats were comfortable in economy for me, but unfortunately my Husband being a larger tall man was cramped and didn’t have a lot of room to move."
