We had to help our kids with the program selections. Wished that the 7 hour flights are upgraded to newer ones with touch screen control, just like the 12 hour flights. 2. Food options not available - My son & daughter ended up skipping both meals during the second leg. They did not want to eat hamburger in kids menu, Korean air did not have alternate meal option like pasta or pizza in flight, which was not what I had expected. Cold sandwiches were offere prior to landing in breakfast menu, all of us had to skip it. 3. Turbulence - my son ended up vomiting twice in second leg. Fortunately we carried 2 spare sets of clothes. 4. Checked baggage in Mumbai airport took 1.5 hours to arrive on the baggage claim belt which was just a waste of time. Korean Air staff just blamed airport authorities on the baggage delay and did not inform anxious passengers awaiting for their baggage after the long flight. Korean air was inefficient in every way."

The entertainment system worked well and had a number of good options for movies and TV shows in English. Korea Air served a nice lunch on the flight which was a mix of Western and Korean food."

We had a very short connection but were met as we got off our first flight in Seoul and given great instructions about how to quickly get to our connection through security while our flight to SFO was being held for 15 minutes. The food was very good, choice of movies and TV excellent. Our bags made it to SFO despite the short connection. All in all I couldn't ask for a better way to make a 20 hr trip to the other side of the world."
I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". The flight crew are great, boarding and staff at gate are meticulous and orderly. Comfort is good in economy, I'm 6ft and had decent room. The food is ok , it's a lot of little things that were fresh and different but not really a meal. My language is limited to English but for the most part I was able to communicate my needs thankfully to their understanding of English. I would fly this airline again I would think about the one step upgrade from economy if it was a busy flight especially over 5hrs .

Then they stated that even though we had pre-check, we did not qualify and the boarding pass was not issued with Honolulu to LAX. Over 5 hours delay and did not know that we could have stayed in Hawaii free room and meals. Terrible and one of the worst vacations ever for returning to the US. The food was not great."

The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation."

Their staff always seem to have a degree of professionalism and pride in their work that you rarely see on US based airlines anymore. That's not to say US airlines are terrible, JAL is just better. They are generally more expensive than other airlines but when you're stuck in a metal tube for 10+ hours each way, it's worth it."

Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!"

I understand that we had to turn back due to his condition but why was he not removed from the plane and put on a later flight when he felt better instead of making all of us late? You would think after all this the crew would be kind and appreciate our patience but 2 of the flight attendants were the exact opposite of that. Both of them were very short with people and the one kept rolling her eyes at people as they were handing out drinks. The only thing I would give 5 stars is the tv entertainment. My seat wouldn’t even recline for me to enjoy though."

They even stopped us at check-in and nearly begged us to check our bags pointing to the backed up jetway. But we had a lot of unpacking to do before checking our bags so we politely declined three times. On getting to our seats there were at least 8 open slots for bags near us. I heard a crew member call forward to say "tell them no more rollaboards" so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF"

Got to watch bag handlers throw and drop luggage like true gorillas. Delta, this time you truely are the worst. Wont book you again."

We saw people with two big bags get on board at the start, and then staff made everyone at the back of the line check their bags. But there was plenty of bin space before take off. And we were seated in the last row which can't recline."

I've had to purchase a new set of luggage AND will have to pay for them on my next 2 legs on Delta. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). We atrempted to change our seats online at KLM (not possible), online at Delta (didn't recognize our KLM purchased flight), in person at KLM counter in SVG, in person with THE Delta rep at the check-in gate in AMS...no one could help us due to different systems used for seating for each company that the other one doesn't have access to.
