Was a quick flight less than an hour. He gave me two packs of gold fish. Which is fine but of course compared to my other flights, well no comparison, but the flight was less than an hour.
Flying business cannot quench your thirst. Not even a glass(in this case a paper cup) of water is onboard. I wonder if the COVID virus can survive in the longer legs.

Checking in at Incheon took a very long time - they should open more counters or give warning to passengers of how long it can take."

Having just transferred from Korean Airlines and taken other asian airlines on my trip, it's a hard comparison to a domestic airline, although Hawaiian is among one of the better domestics. On my food tray, there was a bowl of miso soup, that the attendant was trying to hand me, while there was turbulence. The bowl of miso was smiling all over the tray, and on my napkin, and since I was on the inside seat, almost spilled all over me. On a previous Korean airline fight, also with turbulence, the attendant had taken the bowl off the tray, and covered it with a saran, and then handed it to me to make sure it wouldn't spill all over me. There's a bit of difference there."

Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.
It would have been better if I received the right ticket for my flight as I was sold a ticket for a flight that did not existed. Had to wait 3 hours for new ticket to be issued and then to find out they messed up my return flight I'm still trying to get it corrected. Totally F**ked up trip!!!!!!
I book my tickets thru kayak.com and when we are boarding, 6 of us sit in 6 different places. I have 3 kids and a senior mother. The crew are nice, but not willing to work with other passengers to change the sit for us. Kayak didn't send the seat assignment ahead so I didn't know we are not sitting together. Specially 11 hrs flight. ☹️
The cabin is SO HOT. Made the entire trip obscenely uncomfortable. They also only turn down the lights for 4h of the 9h flight, making is very difficult to sleep. Also, kayak and JAL wouldn’t let me change my flight, which was incredibly frustrating! JAL has a very nice on board crew.

She then checked on me constantly to see how I was feeling, and suggested sparkling water. When I deplaned, she checked one more time with me, if they could do anything. I was feeling much better, and give this airline my highest endorsement."

When I informed the staff, I was asked to show proof that I ordered a veggie meal. I could not pull up my email confirmation as we were flying and there was no internet access. I had to lug my bag out of the overhead and search for a print out confirmation. I had not come prepared with the "evidence" the stewardess wanted. While the staff tried to be polite, I also found them to be quite rude, demanding that I produce evidence. Could they not have simply given me an extra salad without all the fuss? I felt I was being treated as a criminal for requesting a veggie meal that had, unfortunately, not been recorded in their system."

Because of this, I had to put my cat in the overhead bin during takeoff. This gave me and my cat a lot of stress, although they let me take her out during the landing. Also I thought the airline would open much earlier than my flight so that I could ensure the safe transfer of my pet-in-cargo."

So hot inside the plane, no air condition, no food, no comfort measures given to passengers. They should have not let passengers to board knowing that there is mechanical problem. It would have been more comfortable if passenger just waited at the airport gate."
Ưu: "On my long-haul flight from Seoul to JFK - the middle seat in my row was empty, the seats were much more spacious than Cathay Pacific, and I appreciated how there wasn't a 10 minute promotional video before watching every movie/TV show as with other airlines. I am very satisfied with this airline overall!"

On my flight from LA to Seoul, the crew was constantly in the aisles offering water and juice without being summoned by passengers. There were a few times when I wished that someone would come by with water or juice, but didn't want to press the call button to get them. Lunch options as we neared LAX were both Asian style, and a middle-ground option would have been appreciated. On the outbound flight to Seoul we had breakfast options that included pancakes."

What WAS their fault, was the AWFUL, AWFUL MUSIC played over the PA during the wait. It was like Chinese water torture. After more than 15 hours on the plane, it was a repetitive loop that they probably thought would be soothing, but it made me want to scream."

They had me go to the airport 5 hours early to get a different flight cuz theirs was delayed then after not being able to make those flights carrying my 5 bags to 3 different terminals they said just go on their delayed flight and cuz they had over 80 people going on to Manila that they would hold the last flight there but when we landed we were informed going to a hotel and no compensation for it. I am extremely pissed off"

The crew member told me that since the person had settled in I'd have to sit in another seat and pointed to yet another seat. Needless to say I was very confused and more than a little ticked with the inconsistent behaviour. Things didn't get any better when they defended their approach instead of simply acknowledging the problem."

Khuyết điểm: "The chicken rice was a bit disappointing. On the way out from Bangkok to Fukuoka the food was better. I was left wandering around at the Hong Kong airport to find the gate. The transfer station at E2 was hard to find - more signs or better directions from personnel would have helped. This was in contrast to the exceptional treatment I received from CP when I was making my close connection in Hong Kong on the way from Bangkok to Fukuoka. The lady helped escort me through the airport to make sure I caught my flight and had been waiting there as I exited the plane -- that was fantastic but in sharp contrast to my experience on the return segments."

Seats are not as comfortable as the ones used 5+ years ago. Overall a big disappointment. Cathay is ot what it used to be. I probably will use another carrier on my next trip."
