We had to wait in a huge line to get rebooked and it was clear the Japan Airlines employees did not know what they were doing. I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the airport overnight by myself."

Before the flight landed, the head flight attendant came to greet every passenger and personally thanked them for choosing JAL. Well, the JAL check-in counter opened at 650AM for the 950AM flight (exactly 3 hours before the scheduled flight), with maybe some 50 people already in line. With most passengers coming far from the airport, it will be very very helpful if the counter, even at least one counter, would open earlier, so that passengers who came in early could check in early and wait comfortably in the departure area."

I've been using ANA for my frequent trips between Japan and the states, they are consistent. The in flight food is good. You will get complimentary wine, Haagen Dazs ice cream dessert. Cathay Pacific also serve HD ice cream, but half the size on lunch meal. ANA serve on both meals."

If you are in the US you need to log on to the ANA US site, the JP site is in Japanese and it will not redirect you to US. On line check in can get confused as a lot of time it would not recognize the booking number, you have to use a long 10 digit e-ticket number. My fight from Tokyo to HKG would let me check in and get seat assignment until 24 hours before the scheduled flight. The seat map shows all seat ps were taken without telling what is going on."

The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

Khuyết điểm: "What a terrible flight. There was absolutely no leg room. I'm 180cm but I imagine Qatar airlines have taller passengers. I understand they are trying to squeeze as much money out of their flights as possible but it was to the point of such severe discomfort that my right knee still hurts half a week later. The reason that it hurts so much is that there was a post through the right half of the leg room under my seat, which was already super limited to begin with. DO NOT GET A WINDOW SEAT, WHATEVER YOU DO. It was a 7 hour flight and I was SO MUCH PAIN. Horrific. The flight staff was rude. I will never fly Qatar again under ANY circumstances. I would rather travel months by boat, or even walk for years on end then go through that 7 hour experience. Qatar's cheapness lost them a customer!"

The seats were uncomfortable and not enough room for such a long flight. The kids were extremely uncomfortable on this flight, as many were crying throughout the journey."

Movie selection could be better. Additionally, it seems like the Qatar airport is becoming more like a US airport. Agents were barking orders and the pre-boarding process was slow. It was not a good start to the flight."

Khuyết điểm: "Temperature in AA cabins are 10 degrees or more colder than your competitors. Uncomfortably cold in AA flights. Recently I have flow, with spirit, Southwest, United, and Delta. In all those cases the cabin temperature was warmer than AA. I have to say as an exec plat, I wish AA would fix this issue. It is something that ER waiting rooms have adjusted and it has statistically shown to improve satisfaction scores."

Khuyết điểm: "Staff at the check-in counter made fun of my surname. Bad start but not noteworthy unless combined with the rest of the experience. The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."
