Good service and great inflight entertainment. The airline is not a US domestic carrier so flight staff might not understand every English word of a request but they try very hard. Most US carriers would not try as hard if I were speaking Korean! The whole world does not speak your language and remember that coach is coach for a reason $$$. Customs procedures are out of the control of carriers so comments about that."

We had a very short connection but were met as we got off our first flight in Seoul and given great instructions about how to quickly get to our connection through security while our flight to SFO was being held for 15 minutes. All in all I couldn't ask for a better way to make a 20 hr trip to the other side of the world."

Sorry the review I just posted was for this flight which was the long haul flight. The planes were nice and that’s about it. No 2 full service meals, only a little tiny vegetable wrap an hour into the flight. Nothing else until the last 2 hours which was the only meal served. Terrible at that. Also no amenity kits were given. Not even a toothbrush. No snacks or nuts in between. Just an awful experience with a mediocre crew. Very disappointed in this supposed 5 star airline according to Skytrax.
Overall experience is good. Except that the one of the assistant ground attendant during my check in is quite annoying when i asked her only one question, something regading the boardong pass. She should be more helpful and accommodating not arrogant.

Ưu: "This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much."

They even told me that despite their best efforts in pre-flight checks, certain defects only surface when the flight is in progress. Will never ever travel on this airline again."

We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The food should be improved, it didn’t taste as good as expected. Tea/coffee should be served after food otherwise by the time we finish our food the tea/coffee is cold.
One thing I noticed was that food options wise most people opted for vegetarian option and that caused some shortage of veg meal. In my opinion if there is bitter paneer as the veg option then there should be butter chkn as the non veg option. Not a completely different cuisine. AlsoThe staff was more courteous on the way to dubai from chicago than from Chicago to Dubai.

Twenty minutes later the low cholesterol plate was served and not once was I offered the opportunity to make a selection of my own choosing."

Duty Free shops really expensive compared to European airports. Meal on board (breakfast) was really terrible (and that taking into account that airline breakfast is always bad), really the worst I've ever had on a plane, even the Croissant was chewy and very dry. Emirates has become a massive sausage machine people-mover. It has loss its finesse and exceptional service."

Flight Attendants were pushy, asking me to put on my mask when I had just woken up from sleep in the lay flat bed in business class. Had one flight attendant rudely ask me to shut the door to the bathroom when I had literally just opened it to go in. Business class seats were really not any larger than coach/economy seats, so the lay flat beds were like a coffin, and not comfortable.

I couldn’t even go to the bathroom. All my flights on Asiana Airlines from the US to Manila and vice versa were screwed up!"

Flight to Seoul from New York was also delayed by 8 hours and I ended up having to spend ~$70 for hotel/taxi due to arriving in Seoul past midnight. Horrible experience both there and back and don't think I would ever take Asiana again."

While that info is important, maybe just have the seatbelt sign on all the time, and put words on the screen when there is turbulence, during the sleeping time of the flight."

Because of this, I had to put my cat in the overhead bin during takeoff. This gave me and my cat a lot of stress, although they let me take her out during the landing. Also I thought the airline would open much earlier than my flight so that I could ensure the safe transfer of my pet-in-cargo."
Ưu: "The airbus had plenty of storage room in addition to leg room. The compartment underneath the window was big and allowed two big purses to fit with additional space left. Plenty of space between seats in front even when reclined. The crew were friendly and ready to assist. So far, this has been the best airbus I've flown in."

Ưu: "The company called one travel agency quoted $1,000.00 per ticket from Vancouver to tokyo. I purchased 3 tickets but in about 3 weeks later I find out that they cancelled it. I complained about it and they asked if I wanted to purchase the same tickets from the same flight and seas for $1,500.00. Because I wanted to save $50 (Air Canada was $1,050.00 through Travelocity at the time), I had to pay $1,400.00 for Air Canada ticket 3 weeks later. I will never fly ANNA or deal with travel one. Even though it is a little more expensive I will only deal with reputable company such as travelocity."

Only after an hour of explanations I could take the cats. It seemed that that person was not familiar with rules on pet transportation."

Sorry to grade for " Boarding, Mediocore" Nevertheless, the girl made us too confused. our departure to HK thru Seoul, she gave us boarding pass only to Seoul and my husband uses a cane due to leg pain. ( he can not bend his leg properly). I asked her to give a front seat. She simply ignored my request. At least, she should better say yes or no! However, other staffs helped us!"

It arrived after 18:00, boarding was suppose to be at 18:40 but by the time I was able to get on the rail to the main station it was 18:40. Luckly a crew member had a sign and was calling out "HCMC". Luckily I am in good shape because we ran through the airport to the next connection as they were getting ready to close the plane doors. Need to have someone walk and time, the time of arrival from Seattle into Korea, onto the rail, to the main station and distance to gate 40. You may very well miss your flight."
Ưu: "There was no water bottle provided during about 5 hours flight after the dinner service. Although the fly attendants are always ready to help, I hope the Asiana Airlines would cater more to customers' needs and think more considerably."
