Ưu: "Crew was very nice and did what they could."
Khuyết điểm: "Economy seats are so cramped that the couple (who were strangers to me) seated next to me (i was in the window seat) decided to 1) one would sleep prone on the floor in the foot portion of our row; and 2) the other would rest his head on ME and the armrest, stretching out on their seats. Greeeaat."
Ưu: "CX882, seat 44k would not recline. Made my journey a bit uncomfortable."
Khuyết điểm: "Our flight from HK to LAX we were told that the pilot refused to wait for us even if we arrived in HK from cebu at 11:35 of July 29 and our flight to lax was at 12:05 .Cathay couldn’t do anything about it. We were billeted in a hotel far from the airport with free breakfast but no lunch was provided and the earliest flight they could give us was scheduled at 16:35 of Juy 30. Upon returning to the airport I asked a cathay staff regarding provisions for lunch but I was told there’s none.Overall our trip both to and from LAX were very uncomfortable and inconvenient. I hope Cathay will do something better in situations like we encountered. As of this writing I and my husband are still at HK airport waiting for our flight to LAX."
Khuyết điểm: "It was a long delay, about an hour. The airline kept silence until too late. They gave us a blanket, some refreshments and where to have breakfast. Those who made a fuss were taken to hotel. Many others stayed at the airport and had a terrible night."
Ưu: "Flight and service were excellent on all accounts including food."
Khuyết điểm: "Boarding was not organized in Hong Kong. Passengers were not called in groups, and therefore, an unorganized line formed between seats. Staff did not clearly tell passengers when boarding was taking place, and where to form lines. I was very surprised."
Ưu: "Nothing much. Travelling in economy class for long flights is always a miserable experience. I can't afford to fly business and I am compelled to travel due to personal reasons"
Khuyết điểm: "With the new security rules for flights to the US, they took my water bottle at the gate during boarding. I was dehydrated during the whole flight. The small cup of water they give during the flight is not enough for me."
Ưu: "The flight attendants in the airplane, both going and coming back to my destination were very nice. I really appreciated their hard work and attentiveness."
Khuyết điểm: "At the HK airport the lady attending the check in, I believe her name is Tammy, I could not understand exactly what she was asking me to do because her voice was so low and her English was not clear. When I did not comply to what she was asking she very rudely did what she was asking me to do yet I could not hear or understand her. She even rolled her eyes. Very uncalled for and rude."
Ưu: "Great food (probably the best I’ve had on a flight) and a fairly good in flight entertainment."
Khuyết điểm: "The crew was good , but I observed that one aisle got a follow up of drinks more than my aisle. It made me wish that I was sitting in that aisle."

Ưu: "We boarded on time. Again, cabin crew was nice, courteous, and professional. Flight was not full- therefore, no passenger present next to me. Did not eat either meal- therefore, can not vouch for them; however, did have a cup of noodles. Again, the variety of music was nice."
Khuyết điểm: "Again, airport crew leaves a lot to be desired."
Ưu: "Food was great, and the business class 777 seats are a delight. And the captain shuts up through the entire flight --- no interrupting your sleep or movie with stupid observations that no-one wants to hear."
Khuyết điểm: "The quality of the screens (crappy slow resistive touchscreens) is completely unacceptable for business class in 2018. China Airlines screens are VASTLY superior in their hardware, their speed, and the quality of their UI. And running an ad before EVERY movie --- in business?! Talk about an airline having no sense of class. That's a cheap, stupid move."

Both departing and returning flights ran out of free gifts as stated for the purchase of Laneige skin care products. Food selection is less desirable compared to other Asian airlines. Inside the crew food storage/service area looks old and dirty. I can see the area from my seat."
Khuyết điểm: "Flight arrived in LA 30 minutes late. Then had to wait another 30 minutes for a gate to open. All in all, the flight arrived 1 hr late which is very inconvenient and annoying. And the crew isn't has friendly. The boarding time in Hong Kong took a very long time"

Ưu: "Had 4 pairs of eye glasses taken from my golf bag. ! prescribtion, i pair reading and 2 pairs of sunglasses. bag was left open and contents spilled into the golf carry bag. Why did this happen and who did it??"
Ưu: "I was seated around a number of sick people - and it was a middle seat so hard to get up since there was pretty much no space"

Khuyết điểm: "However, I didn't find anything better than mediocre airlines. The attendant was kinda cold, service was rough, and toilets get dirty quickly."

Khuyết điểm: "Stewardess in my isle was not friendly. Don't have enough supply of bottle water. HK airport won't allow drink to be brought on the plane even though it was bought at the airport. Hard cushion on chair."
Ưu: "Everything was great. The crew was polite and helpful throughout my flights. The food was good, tasty and hot! Had some newer movies available."
Ưu: "seats were wider and more legroom in economy section, better food than other airlines, crew were helpful, entertainment system offered good selection."
Khuyết điểm: "one entertainment system kept freezing and did not work for the last 4 hours of the flight, toilet need more frequent cleaning."
Ưu: "The pilot kept us informed. The food was good. The Moon Cake provided to help us celebrate, even though we were traveling, was an added example of why Cathay Pacific is the standard that everyone else is trying to emulate in Tourist class. The L.A.-based cabin crew provided outstanding service throughout the flight. The in-flight service manager made me believe she cared about the quality of the service in the back, which was outstanding. It was as good as a full, 13-hour flight could be. Even the in-seat entertainment was outstanding and reliable."
Khuyết điểm: "The boarding process in Hong Kong was terrible. It was absolute chaos. If it had not been for then complete turn around after we were on the plane, it would have been the beginning of the flight from hell."

Khuyết điểm: "The sound did not work for my video, the food was not good, the seat was uncomfortable, and my stewardess was rude."
Ưu: "Seating in standard coach compared to premium economy on US airlines. The seats reclined back enough that I actually was able to sleep most if the 13-hour flight. Meals were very good for economy. Cabin crew super polite and patient, which I've come to notice as a standard on Cathay. As an example, I have a good intolerance to shrimp/prawn. My outbound flight LAX-HKG, the dinner salad included shrimp. I explained i could not eat the shrimp. The attendant was kind enough to swap it with a leftover vegetarian salad."
Khuyết điểm: "Trying to setup special meals to avoid food allergies is non-existent. Cathay offers many special meals, excluding food allergies or low-carb. I attempted to call in to Cathay to explain I could not have shrimp/prawn. The rep either did not understand or could not help. I really wished Cathay offered a pre-arrival meal like the other airlines. LAX-HKG and HKG-LAX are 13+ hours. Cathay offers a departure meal and a mid-flight meal. But by arrival time, I was starting to get hungry again. Thank God, I had enough of a layover, even with CBP processing, to grab a quick bite before continuing an additional 6-hours to home with no time to eat."
Ưu: "Overall, excellent service for its Marco Polo club member! I paid USD $100 to join the club. And it is much better than my experience with EVA (diamond member, 4 yrs) and United (gold member)."

Ưu: "Its a long flight from Hong Kong to LAX. It appears that the crew is so organized that it does not appear to be as brutal as it is."
Khuyết điểm: "Traveling to and from Jakarta on Cathay Pacific the most challenge i had was not being able to hear the movies. There was something wrong each time. The staff tried to repair it with no success. All and all that is a minor thing. Its also a small thing. I wish passengers wouldn't be such slobs. Even tho the crew comes by often and regularly, people leave a mess behind them. Kinda sad. Its as if some feel they are supposed to treat crew like servants. Your staff as always, don't complain just go about there responsibilities with a smile."

Khuyết điểm: "Pilots apparently forgot the seatbelt sign pretty much the entire flight. Flight attendants were trying to get people to stay seated until it became clear the light was never going off. Literally 1/2 the flight people were just wandering around and the attendants gave up. Seriously guys, on a 10+ hour flight, that's not cool."
Ưu: "Friendly and hard working staff. Clean aircraft. Decent movie choices. Gluten free meal available, though I can't make a selection for GF Meal + Seafood (pescatarian). I get chicken or meat in GF, and I don't eat either."
Khuyết điểm: "Boarding is not by row numbers -- this is chaotic with long snaking line. Aircraft Toilets get dirty quickly with urine on the commode and the floor. There needs to be a quick drying wet disinfection system. You must enable Gluten Free meals to come with 3 choices - Veg, Non Veg, Seafood only."
Khuyết điểm: "We had to go through the security twice. One the bags we scanned and the other before getting into the airline. Was a waste of time."

Ưu: "Not like but was okay with the leg room, comfort and entertainment on board the aircraft."
Khuyết điểm: "The water they were serving was not bottled and tasted like restroom water. However when I brushed my teeth in the restroom, it did not have that horrid smell and taste as the drinking water did. Two inflight staff was rude, Didn't get their names but both ladies blocked passengers way when they were trying to get back to their seats and rolled their eyes at a lot of passengers for various requests. Completely not professional!"
Ưu: "Food was hot, tasty and nutritious. This time, the crew didn't make faces or roll their eyes when I asked for a snack and the service co-ordinator was visible the entire flight making notes and checking on people."
Khuyết điểm: "Cramped in cattle class but that's not Cathays fault. I need to earn more to fly comfortably"

Khuyết điểm: "I did not like that food trays were left at our seats for over an hour after we were done eating. People who had special meals had trays at their seats for well over 90 minutes after they were done eating. Many people were upset with that. They offered more coffee and did other things before picking up trays. It was especially uncomfortable for people who had toddlers with them. People started getting up and bringing their trays to the staff. And the staff seemed annoyed, but I feel passengers had a right to be upset."
Ưu: "i liked that there was a larger variety of food to choose from and the traditional hong kong style fish was amazing. the seasons greetings cookie was good too. the crew was good in trying to help everyone on board."
Khuyết điểm: "there was a layover which cathay pacific did not account for as this layover was too short and resulted in me having to take a later flight. that was a real inconvenience which delayed my arrival time in los angeles. that was one of the major tick off during this part of the trip"
