Worked so much better than everyone rushing to get on! Flight attendants were very helpful with everything and always kind. Loved being able to sit in the exit row seats!!"

Ưu: "I was recently on flight CI054 from Auckland to Taipei, with a short layover in Brisbane (my final destination was Incheon, South Korea. Due to fog in Brisbane, the flight was diverted to Gold Coast. After arriving in Gold Coast we had to take a bus to Brisbane. It's kind of a long story, but basically I will say it was handled well for the most part my China airlines. Certainly, fog was not there fault and they did everything they could to accommodate passengers, including putting us up in two very nice hotels."
Khuyết điểm: "The one complaint I have is when disembarking the plane in Gold Coast, there was no China Airlines personnel to be found anywhere. Nobody on the plane knew what we were doing - who was supposed to get on the bus and who was supposed to stay. The Australian immigration authorities and Gold Coast airport staff took control, but again, China Airlines staff had completely disappeared. Nobody was there to tell us whether we should collect our luggage, how to get an appropriate visa to enter Australia, where to go to get on the bus (or even if we SHOULD get on the bus). I was really frustrated at the point, but other than that, I would say they handled it quite well"

Ưu: "I really liked the prices of the tickets for this trip, I saved money over the regular price plane tickets; since I had 2 long layovers in Seoul at Inchoen Airport. I love this airport, it is clean, modern and offers so much amenities for FREE. The best for my second time LONG Lay over. My firtst time was at an airport in Alaska which I completely forgot since it was nearly 30 years ago. The flying experience was totally good from flying from BKK as it was also a good airport. I also liked the services, the crews were courteous and helpful."
Khuyết điểm: "Flights were full and of course I had a seat in seat 32E next to a man who was ofviously either sick or had a bad allergy, he sneezed and sneezed 1/2 of the whole flight when he was awake and slept most of the time so it was difficult for me to get in and out to the rest room. Luckily the people in seats 32F & 32G were kind enough to let me in and out (I got out mostly while the lady in seat 32F was getting out of her seat.) Mostly the other experiences were good overall."

Khuyết điểm: "It appears the flight attendants catered more for Koreans than others. On several occasions they would ask Korean passengers if they wanted coffee, tea or wine. They looked at me and deliberately ignored me. This happened on Flight from Houston to Manila. From Hong Kong to Seoul and especially from Seoul to Houston. I had to ask thrice for a head phone before I got one. I was wide awake."

Khuyết điểm: "The fact that this JAL Flight was operated by Korean Air meant that not only was the staff different, the the plane itself was an older and smaller model with extremely little room and zero entertainment systems. Both of these developments were severely disappointing given that the 2 hour round trip was 440USD, and flying on a budget airline would have provided basically the same experience for much cheaper. Furthermore the flight was delayed for over an hour taking off at almost 10:00pm instead of 8:40pm. The meal service was quite disappointing as well given the long wait. This delay nearly caused me to miss the last train into the city, in which case I would have needed to take an incredibly expensive Tokyo taxi ride to my accommodation. This was avoided by luck alone, as the airport immigration lines at Haneda airport were uncharacteristically empty. All in all, it was a surprisingly frustrating experience and remarkably stressful. I have known JAL and Korean Air to both be excellent carriers and was quite disappointed to have such a poor flight experience could have been exceeded by an average Peach or Vanilla Air flight."

Ưu: "Boarding process was pretty smooth. Food was OK and the on-flight entertainment was good. I liked having the camera on the plane where you could see over where we were flying as well as the frontal camera. Also liked the map views."

Yes the plane looked nice and the flight attendants looked flawless, but I had no luck when it came to the flight attendant that was in charge of my isle. She was not friendly, and gave me a judgmental look when I asked for a refill for red wine. Tickets are very expensive and I'm sure most folks using this airline have made lots of efforts and sacrifice to be able to pay for their trip. Such was my case, as I was on vacation with my sister and had been planning for this trip for a very long time. Seats were very uncomfortable and it was warm inside the plane the whole time. in the end we got to Incheon safely and on time, and I guess that's what matters..."

Ưu: "A stewardess accidentally spilled some orange juice on me when serving shortly after takeoff from Incheon, and was extremely apologetic; I have suffered much worse in my fairly long life, I have made much worse mistakes,and it did not bother me at all; I declined the offer of cleaning costs, but the senior stewardess unexpectedly handed me an envelope while I was debarking in Seattle; I discovered it contained cash for the cleaning, an unexpected surprise. The crew overall was courteous, friendly but businesslike, and obviously knew it was their job to make the passengers comfortable and happy -- they did a very professional job of doing so. Three cheers for KAL"

However, it was extremely difficult for me to operate, even to reach the flight progress screen; its primary language of course is Korean, which I do not read or speak, and the required navigation sequences did not appear to me to be logical, Fortunately for me, I am not a TV person and generally read while awake on the flight."

I had fallen during my vacation and really wanted to upgrade so I can stretch out to not put a lot of pressure on my low back and hip for a 12+ hour flight, and didn't get the chance. Was pretty upset when I walked around and noticed many open seats in both business class and first class. (first class curtain was opened for a short period of time)"
Ưu: "Courteous and attentive service. Generous with extras (e.g. wine, meals). The entertainment options (movies, TV, music) made the 13 hour flight pass quickly. I was even able to catch a few hours' of sleep thanks to the ample leg room and a seat that reclines more than 15 degrees. Finally, the fellow passengers (mostly Korean) were quiet and polite, which made the flight all the more delightful. This is definitely my goto choice for trips to Southeast Asia."

Food could have been better. Entertainment was the same during both June and July. It could have been changed.
Only 2 meals on a 16 hrs flight and they had few option for food and drink. Qty was not sufficient
Both flights SIN<-->MAN had very cold cabins. Why does it have to be very cold?

One stewardess had friends in business. a couple sitting one after another in window seats. She spent most of her time chatting with them, taking photos while we were trying to sleep."

Ưu: "The cabin crew were fantastic. Food was abundant. Most boarding systems worked well. Choosing seats was confusing on website so we were allocated seating. The newer planes had a fantastic touch screen entertainment system. The seats on the newer planes were much more comfortable and roomy"
Khuyết điểm: "The small seats are squishy on the older planes. The entertainment system on the older planes were dated and difficult to use. I felt sick after the flight to UK but felt fine coming home after one long flight on a newer plane."

Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

No new movies unlike on the way there :( dont really like being woken up for meals though, would be nice if they left a note to get a meal from them once ive gotten up. Coz i was trying to sleep so i dont get jetlagged back in sg. Which i did unfortunately :( not jetlag when i arrived in rome though :)"

Khuyết điểm: "I asked to be placed in a seat as close to the front as possible as I suffer from motion sickness in the back of the plane. I was placed in the back row all the way to my destination and all the way home. I vomited 8 times and felt very sick. I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

Khuyết điểm: "The get out and get back in halt at Hong Kong. Practically the entire flight had to do this, quite wasteful. Bad customer experience. Find a better way please! If Hong Kong makes you do that switch over to another airport, better yet make no halt. I have flown direct from SF to Singapore before so not sure why this halt."
