Still don't understand why the Istanbul-to-IAD flight is scheduled to be an hour and a half longer than the IAD-to-Istanbul leg was. Apparently there was no effort to make up lost time, so our scheduled 7:10pm arrival was after 8pm. Pasta dish was clearly supposed to be a hot meal, but it was cold when served."

I would suggest that once the guest has picked their language preference on the screen, they then only hear announcements once in their preferred language. Also, our first transfer flight with Turkish allowed for us to carry our personal camera, but then on our main connecting flight we were told that we couldn't have it as a carry on. We would have stowed it in checked baggage had we been previously told. This was incredibly frustrating."

Khuyết điểm: "New US regulations requiring tablets and laptops to be stored in checked baggage were not relayed to me. I booked the trip in February and the new regulations went into effect in March, but I was never notified. When we got to Istanbul from Brussels and made our way to the gate, we had to go through a security checkpoint where I was informed that my tablets would be confiscated and given back to me once we landed. They had a claim area set up next to our baggage claim turn-style to get tablets and laptops back, but it took us 30 mintues to get our tablets (only 5 mintues to get our baggage). Again, I realize they're only doing their jobs and this regulation is new, but the system they put in place for it and their total lack of communication for customers who had already booked trips was awful. Also, at the checkpoint I was told my tablets would be confiscated and my passport had a sticker put on it. I moved down the line where I was told they would take my tablets and the next guy told me I was clear to go. I asked for verification and he ushered me along, so along I went. Then, while sitting in the plane waiting to leave, a group of 5 or 6 people came on board and searched me out, saying they didn't have a record of my tablets being handed over. I told them I was told to move on at the second checkpoint and they gave me a look as though I was lying, but then said it wasn't my fault and made me retrieve them from my bag and hand them over. It wasn't a huge deal, but it sure did make me look like an idiot in front of everyone else on the flight who could see it happen. The whole reason we brought our tablets was to read books on the flight, and a 13 hour flight doesn't exactly go by quickly. I udnerstand they're just doing their job, but they should have sent an update to people on these flights."

Khuyết điểm: "The space between the rows was very limited. I have short legs so it wasn't a problem for me, but my companion had her knees shoved into the back of the seat in front of her for the whole 13 hour flight. Not so good."

Wrong contact phone number at initial report and was not addressed despite report and upload. Also a representative emailed that luggage was erroneously recorded as "delivered" which is not true. I still don't have my luggage after 14 days. No further responses despite extensive documentation and receipts. This is bad!!!"

Not only was that frustrating but it is not safe to have people up and about when the captain requests seatbelts."

Khuyết điểm: "I requested for a vegetarian meal both times and I was denied both times because they said they didn't prepare any vegetarian meals. The flight attendant was so rude about it. They also lost my baggage TWICE. Upon arrival in Tel-Aviv and upon return to Stuttgart."

Khuyết điểm: "My first flight was changed. Only one email was send about that change. It got lost in some other emails so I didn't see it. But I did not receive any other update or reminder. So I had figure out how to change all of my flights from there to Kansas in the States. All with bad internet service and unhelpful costomer service. And having to deal with two unexpected long layovers. All that to say, sending periodic emails is important especially if the flight had been changed."

Khuyết điểm: "The foot rest in economy class is really uncomfortable for people over 5'10'' in height as it means we have less legroom, even if it is folded up, and can be uncomfortable to press against. Food is too much the same across all Turkish Airlines flights. I took 6 flights with Turkish Airlines in 1 week and got cheese sandwiches in every flight!"

We got there safe and on time...what more do you need? Oh, and the price for my route was amazing; the next airline was $1000 more and the one after that $2000 more."

I wrote a formal complaint, all I received was "I am very sorry". And this happened on all 4 flights: Basel to Istanbul, Istanbul to Osaka, Tokyo to Istanbul and Istanbul to Basel. Just one of the worst experiences ever. The crew on the flight from Tokyo to Istanbul, also very rude and cold. The food was really bad, the egg was terrible!"

The smallest things begin to matter; the comfort of the aircraft, quality of food and drinks, the frequency and availability of service, and above all conveying the sense of safety. Every member of this company, from the staff at the counter to the flight attendants, to the pilot seem to really embrace customer service."
