I was very disappointed to find out when I tried to pre-pay that because I bought my ticket from you I wasn’t not allowed to pre-pay for my excess luggage that would save 20% . Also, AS airlines gave me the seat which was not reclining. I was very disappointed

Agents had no clue where to direct passengers and gave incorrect directions that necessitated more waiting. No updates to new flight time in the business class lounge. Once the flight was in the air, service was terrible. Attendants would ask for orders, then never bring them or bring the wrong thing."

They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

But low and behold, UNI/EVA seems to have figured out cheap tickets that run on schedule and includes all the normal perks like luggage. 1:50am flight is perfect, left Vietnam on time and even arrived in Taipei ahead of schedule! I would definitely fly them again."

No response from staff at New York as we missed our connection to my final destination due to the delay of flight from qatar and they didn't even book my next flight too. Such worst experience .

I love everything about Qatar airlines. Especially the airport and the the customer service they provided. The only problem was my sister was having stomach flu and terrible crumbs. She was asked if there is any chance she can have more comfortable seat, or place she can stretch her feet, so she can bear with the pain but the flight attendant told her that airline can’t accommodate her. It was frustrating to know that if someone feel unwell the airline doesn’t have any accommodations.
The cabin crew was mediocre and were not cheerful at any time! Food was very mediocre compared to other Gulf airlines. Seats in economy was reasonable. My baggage didn’t arrive at the final destination and the local staff were not customer friendly in helping out. I hope my baggage arrives! Would still recommend the airlines if you want a decent connection to India or elsewhere.
Food gave us for my wife tofu for vegetarian not everyone eat that food. I gave my meal to her. I picked food non-vegetarian and wife picked vegetarian, we both got vegetarian sandwiches. Food service bad.

Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."

It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)"

Unfortunately the luggages didn't reach to Cairo airport with me . 3 days later they told me that the luggages in Jordan and I have to travel from Alexandria city to Cairo to receive my luggages . When I went their , I found my luggages were opened and missing much items . I made reports on the airport. The employees in the airport they wondered why the opened the selling box , and the box looks empty. The weight for this box was 32 kilograms in the time of shipping. And I paid $400 for extra weight . But when I received it was like 20 kilograms. Plus I paid $350 for Qater airline for shipping 3 luggage . That's means I paid $750 for shipping 3 luggages and I received it looks empty . I need refund for all shipping and $5000 for damages items , or I will complain this airlines through the American court . Thank you"

Best part was the hotel provided during my layover in the wee hours of the morning. I was able to sleep well and shower and was therefore more relaxed during the ensuing 14 hour flight."

Flight moved from gate while overheads bins doors were still open, lots of passengers were still standing, walking in the aisles. Even though I told Steward not to wake me for the meals but still I was woken up 3 times for two serving of meals."

On my first flight I wasn't even asked if I would like to drink something even though not sleeping and waiting to be asked (I think my complete line was forgotten), there was no smile and kindness, when entering the plane 2 people in front of me did not need to show their tickets so I put mine away - of course I had to show mine a 4th time then and look for it. So annoying. They all look pretty but could definitely be more service orientated."

Khuyết điểm: "We were allowed down the jet way to board only to come to a closed plane door - waited for at least 5 minutes for plane door to be opened. Crew seemed tired and disengaged. Walked on the plane asked crew how they were and got less than good reply. In flight woman never smiled, overall crew seemed tired and as though they did not want to be there. Perhaps SFO based crew on way home? Tired from flight over to Dubai? But it was really noticeable and a real difference from the flight over to Dubai from SFO 2 weeks earlier."
Khuyết điểm: "When I was boarding on my 14 hour flight from Dubai to the US, I was briefly informed by the Emirates boarding staff that my seat had been changed. I had specifically chosen my aisle seat because I like to stand often on long flights, so I was concerned that it had been changed. When I tried to get more information from the staff member, he dismissively said "Ma'am, this is a good seat" and handed me my ticket without even making eye contact. There was no apology or courtesy of any kind. I ended up with a window seat and I had to crawl over two other people throughout the 14 hour flight to use the restroom or stretch my legs. I expected more courtesy from the staff for this kind of inconvenience and will rethink my flight plans in the future to avoid Dubai."
Check in was a disaster. 90 minutes and only 2 economy check in desks open. Had to rush to catch the flight.

The plane was extremely hot at the back of the plane, but not in other parts. The service was average and if you asked for something it was done begrudgingly."

Bags also came out first & delivery was very quick. Looking forward to flying Thai again several more times this month & wish I could experience their international service which I’m sure is stellar."

Next, a chinese couple with a 1 year old toddler came to sit next to m: the child started wailing immediately and this lasted until 5 min before landing. It was like they had not a clue on how to handle a child and they had nothing to make it drink or suck or distract it. Worst flight in ages.."
Khuyết điểm: "Due to the late arrival of the previous Thai Smile flight in BKK we had to literally run the length of the airport to catch our next flight. We were taken at pace by an airport staff member who kept telling us that they were closing the gate so we had to hurry. Fair enough but having raced for a very long distance, minus shoes after the security check, we arrived at the gate to find that boarding had not even begun and did not for at least 10 minutes after we arrived at the gate."

Khuyết điểm: "The seat was a middle seat. Prefer an aisle seat. Crowded flight; no choice available to change to an aisle seat. PTV was old and difficult to set up. The seat next to me PTV was damaged. A sign clearly determine that. Perhaps a review of inventory functions would have improved that passengers experience."

It is evident that the in-flight crew preferred conversing with passengers who could speak Thai. Seats were cramped and not enough leg-room. Very uncomfortable for a 6 hour flight Service crew adopted a "get water/juice from the galley trays yourselves". Having requested vegan/vegetarian food, the food options were limited and very bland. They lacked flavor and were not properly cooked. In-flight entertainment options was old and in-seat monitors were small."

Later, the crew must had adjusted the temperature and it was basically steaming hot because the it was only hot air blowing out from centralized air system. I would say, very uncomfortable during the entire flight from Bangkok to Manila."
