The checking took so long and confusing. We barely made the flight from Hanoi to Korea and ran from different terminals to catch the flight from Korea to New York. We paid extra to select seat to sit to gether but then we found out it was just a joke to get money from Justfly since Korean Air said they only arranged seat at check in which we couldn’t check in as early as we wished due to the delay. And from Korea to New York, they lost our 4 luggages. How horrible could that be ? We are thinking about suing justly."

And miraculously, our baggage tagged for short connection, did make it with us to JFK!"

My husband and I flight economy and usually when we fly long distance we will try to upgrade to comfort seating so legs aren't cramped (additional cost with Delta airlines) . With the Korean airlines the economy comfort seating was not an option but then actually not needed since the leg room was quite adequate. The blankets and other amenities for the flight were a nice touch with the blankets being very nice and cozy."

Having just transferred from Korean Airlines and taken other asian airlines on my trip, it's a hard comparison to a domestic airline, although Hawaiian is among one of the better domestics. On my food tray, there was a bowl of miso soup, that the attendant was trying to hand me, while there was turbulence. The bowl of miso was smiling all over the tray, and on my napkin, and since I was on the inside seat, almost spilled all over me. On a previous Korean airline fight, also with turbulence, the attendant had taken the bowl off the tray, and covered it with a saran, and then handed it to me to make sure it wouldn't spill all over me. There's a bit of difference there."

I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". I book my tickets thru kayak.com and when we are boarding, 6 of us sit in 6 different places. I have 3 kids and a senior mother. The crew are nice, but not willing to work with other passengers to change the sit for us. Kayak didn't send the seat assignment ahead so I didn't know we are not sitting together. Specially 11 hrs flight. ☹️
Highly efficient and great service
Japan Airlines should have done better incorporated with other codeshare airlines (JetBlue) to make sure our reservation doesn’t get mess up and that’s one of the reason why we stayed in Newyork for the whole day to wait for the next flight. Could have been much better experience but it wasn’t and worse. My flight got delayed in Newyork causing us to miss out our flight on the outbound from Narita to Vietnam. On the way back, the agent from JP airlines messed up our reservation and separate our name into 2 different reservations making us running around to figure out how to get the boarding pass for my partner which is ridiculous.

I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

I was surprised at how often they would go up and down the aisles checking on passengers, picking up trash, and serving small food items. They even retrieved and stowed a bag multiple times for an elderly passenger without complaint, and frequently checked on him to see if he needed anything else. Quite nice to see!"

Lush food, excellent service, superb seating/bed, plenty to drink and one of the best flights I have ever had.
Business class. Staff service was PHENOMENAL. Seats/beds were spacious and comfortable (I had the seat in the middle section which can become a queensize bed with the next seat. I have had more satisfying food in economy, however traveling with an infant, the spacious seat/bed allowed him to sleep for a few hours. The staff were very good to accomdating him too.
Nothing much to expect for an hour flight
Singapore airlines has resumed after Covid selling premium services but not opened lounges to cater for the demand you cannot get a seat in their lounges and social distancing is non existent. I wouldn't pay for services you don't get so be aware.
Excellent service, the food was delicious and the inflight entertainment full of options for varied taste.

I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

Ưu: "I was traveling alone with my (cranky) infant son and the crew members were kind and accommodating. Though the flight was delayed by almost 2 hours, the crew worked quickly to ready the replacement plane and the pilot made up time and got us to San Jose as quickly and safely as possible."

Khuyết điểm: "Was in seat 16A and got bumped to 12E. If you know Delta aircraft, that's exit row window, for the EC (more legroom) but middle. The problem is that nothing can compete with the exit row for leg room and being crammed between two guys isn't an upgrade either. Plus, due to proximity, got sick. And the flight was delayed leaving - due to the late arrival from ATL (Delta HQ) which had a power outage. And no video entertainment. No meals."

We did not get the reason for the delay until nearly 2 hours after the scheduled departure time. Then, when a new plane was assigned. The boarding agents were rude. The flight attendant was rude."

Khuyết điểm: "I paid $70 for a seat upgrade, and it showed on my boarding pass as “EXIT” (exit aisle) with 6 inches of extra legroom when I purchased the upgrade in London. By the time I arrived in Dallas, the “EXIT” indicator on my boarding pass disappeared. When I boarded the plane there was no extra legroom and row 16 was not an exit row: rows 14 and 15 were. I endured a less comfortable trip, and now have to go through the pain and effort to get a refund. Good luck to me..."

In addition the crew "aged out" so we had to get a second crew - waited for that. the first plane had a mechanical, the second plane had a mechanical - more lengthy delays then finally the last plane was fine - but was again delayed by yet another hour for a total of 7 hours delay. Our compensation? Non existent."
Khuyết điểm: "First of all, this flight was not good; that was my rating for the first leg of CLE to DFW. DFW to SJC was a disaster due to weather and multiple equipment changes. Overall the flight was delayed 7 hours, from 4:50pm to 11:40pm. I opted to reschedule for the following morning -- and that flight ended up being delayed for an hour due to equipment changes and mechanical issues. Door-to-door I spent 30 hours getting from CLE to SJC."

Airline made no concessions for travelers knowing that some were just doing a simple trip and those others whose journey was very long. Narrow seats added to stress and discomfort. Airline policy seemed to be "Give me the money and I will deliver you safely. Period" Humanity seems to be last on airline list. Traveling is seriously grueling and unpleasant for all those not in First Class."

Ưu: "The staff that pushed us thru the ridiculous process of going thru customs , getting our bags checked again & raced us thru to our connecting fight was amazing !!!"

The customs checking process was a joke! We barely made to our flight running thru that entire airport pushing my mother in a wheelchair. I can't tell you how horrible the experience was for both of us!"

Whoever thinks this is a reasonable transfer ought to be subjected to it themselves before booking it for others."
Ưu: "I had a family member enter the hospital 5 hours before take off. I got a full refund, even though I didn't have trip insurance."
Ưu: "The plane was brand new and the crew were very nice. Entertainment system was well-done with good selection of movies. Even unedited movies!! Great."
Khuyết điểm: "The plane was delayed for a half hour before it was marked as "delayed" and then it was delayed another half hour. If I had known it was going to be an hour late I would've been able to eat a proper dinner. They seemed to be out of every normal drink on the drink cart."
Ưu: "The plane was a newer Boeing 738 plane and has AC power outlet at every seat. However I was not able to use their in-flight movie channel on my tablet since there were too many users."

Khuyết điểm: "It's not the first time that I was forced to gate check my carry on luggage. They claim that the cabinet in the plan is full while actually there is plenty of spaces for multiple luggages to be there. The crew was rude and refuse to explain it in an acceptable way. When I asked why cant I carry it when there is enough space, she simply says because you just can't. Do you want to take the plan or not! This is unacceptable."

Ưu: "I missed my previous flight, and even before that my day was going pretty bad. I was quickly routed to the desk to get a replacement ticket, and even though the flight was oversold, they had me wait around until the plane was ready to take off. A couple minutes after they shut the door of the boarding bridge, I was called and told to follow one of them. It turns out a couple of people were headed to the right city in the wrong country."
