I was placed in the back row all the way to my destination and all the way home. I vomited 8 times and felt very sick. I did notice that there were many seats available in the front of the plane but they are never given out as women with babies and children always get them and then single travellers like myself are made sit in the back. I travel a lot, I usually fly Qantas and they are very good at providing seats closer to the front. I will be reluctant to fly Singapore Airlines again due to the fact that they were not accommodating at all."

While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

This may have been because of new Turkey - USA visa issue which just took effect. Refueling was also late. Note: the Istanbul airport is quite dated; restrooms at airport not very clean."

The plane experience was smooth, with wonderful entertainment on your personal screen with excellent movie, news and music offerings. The crew was wonderful, friendly, smiling and accommodating. No charge on alcoholic drinks! Food was great. Flight was good. At Houston, the assistants for Disabled Persons was wonderful, accompanying me up until I was dropped at Shuttle service to my car. Turkish airlines really impressed me and would use them anytime."
Khuyết điểm: "In Istanbul, I had to walk from the gate entrance to the plane. Took me 10 minutes to walk the plank, struggling, but no one offered me a wheelchair or assistance. In Istanbul, there was a considerable amount of people waiting to check bags but there were no agents at 2 counters and it really bothered the people waiting and waiting for them to show up. Then the baggage loading track stopped and it stopped all the traffic for a while. Inconveniences but, nevertheless, it affected the travelers anxiety."

Everything else was good or excellent -- especially food and airplane crew."

There was not one over head bin that had anything in it. No other airline that I travel on treated me like that it was humiliating and frankly never will chose Turkish again."
Ưu: "I like the Airline and I think the food is good, the problem sometimes is when you travel a lot you get the same food :) The crew are always great! I do a lot of connections in Istanbul and we never missed one in about two years flying there at least 4 times a month."

I would like the Gold members to go first with either a bus of their own to at least with part of the bus reserved and we are allowed first on the plane."

Ưu: "When I find the restroom facility with water all over the floor and walls apparently used by a passenger to do a sponge bath. I notified the flight attendants and they immediately clean up the mess and restore the restroom to usable condition. I was very impressed with their attitude in a trying situation. Very cordial flight crew. The little travel kits were an added bonus. Having sandals on a 13 hour flight was a blessing instead of putting on shoes every time you have to to to the WC."

We came there - nothing. Then next text - come get it in two days. When it finally arrived - it was torn. I don't know who to blame in the first wrong text, I don't know why and how the suitcase was lost, I don't know who torn it, but in general it was all very wrong and inefficient."

First my initial flight kept being delayed and delayed until it was actually canceled. Again I give praise to the wonderful crew members for the stellar and comforting service. They truly are the reason I have not given up on AirAsia just yet. Now I do have one leg left, my tip home...I’m hoping that this one will be the overall best experience for my AirAsia. I end up throwing a few items away because I can't squeeze in everything in my carry on bag. I will no longer take Air Asia for the Hong Kong Route."

I am allowed to stay up to 48h in HK airport for transit without any visa, I had to quickly find and purchase the flight ticket to HK with another airlines, with them it was no problem to fly to HK for transit. All other few flights with AirAsia were bad as well. We were refused to get water as a complimentary during a log flight from HK to Manila. Every flight was always delayed up to ~1 h."

I get it. But why do they make it impossible to access "manage your flight" online to make necessary changes on return flight? And I got nowhere with the online chat box, s nowhere to turn.... Making such changes on Tiger Air was so much easier and intuitive. I'll never fly Air Asia if I can help it."
Ưu: "Cabin crew were proactive, hard working and super friendly. Upgraded to "hot" seats at check in without charge. Wide range of food and beverages available despite being a short 1.5 hour flight. Aircrafts were clean and well maintained. Both flights landed either on time or early despite weather issues."

I tried to use the app to check in and pay for a bag, it didn't allow me and I had to pay the much more expensive fee at the airport to check the bag. App in general didn't work well at all, it never showed the return leg journey so I couldn't make any amendments to the booking. Check in process took ages in Langkawi, only two desks open for all of AK's flights. None of the self service kiosks were working despite being advertised as functioning."

I was very impressed and will be telling everyone I know how great Cebu is."

Khuyết điểm: "Our flight was cancelled because of weather condition while we were at the boarding gate, they didn't care about compensations or consider not risking putting the passengers under last minute pressure, at least they should've notified us ahead of time, they automatically rolled us in the next flight, however, they didn't confirm if the next flight will be cancelled or not. In order to make sure I can catch my connecting flights, I booked another flight from Legazpi to Manila on a different airline, in addition, I had to pay the hotel booking cancellation fees in Manila, since these fees can only be waved if I cancelled 24hrs in advance. Moreover when I asked for my ticket refund, they made a big deal out of it and after a ruff struggle they agreed to refund me, but whatever the refund amount was, it barely covers anything of what I had to pay for a new ticket+ 1 extra night stay in Legazpi + hotel cancellation fees in Manila, I ended up paying 400USD in total while I only got around 50USD ticket refund from them, and of course, add to that the stress and hassle I went through in doing this!"

How environmentally unfriendly and generally inconvenient. Especially in these days where such online services should be easy."

All exit seats were free, the flight attendant told me they can't move me because you need to pay extra for those seats. I don't need to get anything for free, but I paid for my seat just like everybody else and it's very frustrating I was forced to spend my flight sitting not only uncomfortably, but also in an unsafe position in case any serious turbulence happened."

You do have to buy luggage allowance beforehand to avoid getting completely gouged though & do it over the phone as their website is almost completely nonfunctional."
Khuyết điểm: "For a 4+ hour flight they should at least give you water and peanuts instead of either making you buy a meal beforehand (on airasia's website which simply does not work if you are using a mobile phone) or pay extortionate prices ($3 for a teeny bottle of water) on board- I realize it's a budget airline but since they don't let you bring liquids through security passengers have no choice but to pay these ridiculous prices if we don't want to completely dehydrate."

If you try to check in 59 minutes or less prior to your flight, you must change your flight and pay a flight change fee. If you have a connecting flight, in the same country with this airline, they do NOT ticket, or check your bags thru to your 2nd flight. Thus, after your first flight, you must wait for your bags, then check in for your second flight. This will ensure that you miss your connecting flight, unless you have at least 2.5 hours between flights, which may result in an additional charge if you miss your connecting flight. We dealt with 3 agents at 3 different locations prior to our first flight and NONE of them told us that we did not have sufficient times between flights, which resulted in us missing our flight and paying for a flight change. Our flight ended up costing 75% extra. I have flown throughout the world on many different airlines and have NEVER seen an airline with these operating procedures/policies. They need to change the name of this airline to NICKEL AND DIME, or to TIGHTWADS OF THE SKY. Will NEVER fly Air Asia again."

I was on a previous flight with the same airline and was charged $30 excess baggage weight, with the same bags, which if anything were lighter. I was completely exploited and I will never book this airline again. I'm so appalled and disgusted by this airline - And warn other travelers to fly with an alternative company. On top of it all they were rude and extremely unhelpful."
