The plane boarded late but they would not give anyone an estimate as to when they’d be boarding to allow people to go to the nearby lounge. The in-flight crew was awesome, and the premium economy is well worth it. Wish they allowed purchasing of business class upgrades, only allowed with points. Food on this flight not as good as their usual. Not many new movies to watch. Overall comfortable flight

Excellent service. Clean aircraft. Took off and landed on time. Did not feel it was an 18 hour flight. Will definitely fly Singapore Airlines again.
It is unfortunate that no pre-departure drinks are served anymore for business class. Even Emirates has resumed that service. Singapore uses regional aircraft for all flights under 8 hours now so this just made it in which means it is not a full business class seat but overall is comfortable enough.

The passengers who go in earlier had put their bags flat and horizontal thus taking maximum room in the bins. The airhostes did nothing to control this or direct the bags. I repeatedly said that I could move the bags around to crate room. They took no heed. There were also a number of partially empty bins that had been closed early , and the air hostesses did nott allow me to look in to. Finallymy partner and I had to cross over to thebother side and place one of ou carry ons 19 rows in front of our assigned seats, and the other smaller bag in the seat on front of us. For a 6'3" man, this was very uncomfortable for 14 hrs. The rest of the flight was fine, but the boarding was extremely inefficient"

It took numerous phone calls, all of which were costly long distance, to get them to commit to getting our luggage to us"

I called their help desk when I couldn't access my reservation. My problem is their systems push your first and middle names together as a first name in their systems so I couldn't access my reservation. I really, really struggled understanding the person on their help desk. Then 48 hours before my flight I tried to book my seats and get my boarding pass. There were no seats for a party of 3 traveling together and only middle seats for the 3 of us. I waited for 20 minutes calling their support center. Of course their team could not help. All seats were booked. Luckily she offered to book my seats for the return and we managed to get the last 3 together in the back of the plane. If you book through Kayak recommend immediately calling to book seat numbers. I have ran out of room but returning from Vancouver their systems didn't read American passports and everyone tried to get tickets issued the staff at the desk laughed when told and said they knew it was a problem....but it did keep the many skiers busy in the self service line:) Also the desk opens 2hours and 59 minutes before departure so don't arrive early"

Ưu: "Don't normally like leaving from JFK, but it was a direct flight to Vancouver, and the price was right. Also, they included 2 free bags in economy, a big savings. Also the meals were ok, and wine was included. Entertainment system was fine."

Khuyết điểm: "Same shows and movies on different segments of flights. Same shows etc 4 weeks later on return trips, 15 to 11 hours long time. Also limited selection Red wine undrinkable What would stop me flying again next year! Manila Airport!!!! Small cramped smelly. Most food shacks do not take credit card and no atms to get cash, come on this is 2018. Also my wife was unable to get her seats confirmed in Thailand for comection in Manila to Vancouver which meant having to line up in the basement in Manila and then argue that we wanted our seats together for the long haul home."
Khuyết điểm: "As we landed 15 minutes early we were forced to wait 45 minutes on the plane because our gate was occupied. after we finally got off and went through customs we waited another hour to receive our luggage. When the luggage finally came out the crews luggage was the first to come out. So we all watched as the crew gathered their luggage which took another 15 minutes. Shouldn't the paying customers be first?"
Ưu: "Boarding was organized. Food was excellent. A couple of complaints from fellow passengers were handled very professionally by crews. Leg room was not an issue for me as I am an average Asian height but for medical purposes - there should be a policy for them to separate sick-looking passengers from older passengers and children."

Flight got delayed for almost one hour while trying to dock because there was no assigned hangar station for the plane! How can an international airline company allow themselves to be treated like that? The crew looked overworked - what are these airline companies doing to these young professionals - treat them like slaves? I'm not surprised - that's the Philippines companies ways - pay them just enough so they can come back the next time to work."

Ưu: "The staff is always hospitable. I was pleased that they left a snack for me even when I was sleeping because when I wake up I was hungry. I also like the disposable toothbrush and paste provided. And bathrooms on the flight were clean, unlike some other airlines."

Ưu: "Seats should be improved, thicker and more comfortable. Honestly I preferred standing halfway thru the flight . It was like concrete!! Rice was so mushy thought it was mash potatoes at first . Crew was exceptional w their service and the washrooms were kept clean even towards the end of the flight. Very important."

Ưu: "The crew went above and beyond and made sure I had a meal that I could eat despite not having ordered ahead. Everyone was friendly and things ran very smoothly."
Everything was fine except the meal we ordered was not available which made no sense since they asked me ahead of time to order a meal.
i will never use Kayak or American Airline ever again!!!
Super delayed causing us to miss our connecting flights.
Somehow gate in CLT did not have wife's request for wheelchair to make tight time for AVL flight. Thankfully Juba did not insist on waiting to confirm, and fast walked/ ran from B terminal to E terminal, shouting make way to crowd and delighting my wife who laughed the whole way as I struggled to keep up. Strange that arrival gate didn't have her info as AVL departure gate did, and treated us to pre-boarding. Wish CLT had better transport between three arrival terminals and their distant D and E terminals. Flight itself was short, on time and comfortable, larger plane than typical puddle jumper to AVL. Staff was curteous and good humored, tho one new young stewardess spent too much time joking with other attendants vs. paying attention to customers, a trend we've seen on some flights before. And best of all, American did not lose our checked luggage through 3 flights from Anchorage and tight time between flights in CLT. Kudos, American, well done!:)
in my case I forgot my jacket in my seat. I reported it after 2 hours of getting off the plane at Coustumer Service and they couldn't give me a reason, I checked with AA staff on my next flight to Lima and they told me that at my final destination they could help me find out with the cleaning company. I hope you can find it... in the end I made a report on the AA website
There is no food or alcohol allowed to be served on the flight.
Flight attendants were super profesional and friendly. Very welcoming environment.

Afterwards after landing the plan had to wait another 15 minutes waiting for the gate. American Airlines atributed the issue to weather conditions in Vancouver, false."

Waited 20 min only to hear a bunch of lies about how they asked the flight attendant to look but she couldn’t find it - should have just walked back on plane to do it myself. Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

I was left hungry and the stewardess was rude about it- I understand that she was likely tired as I was in the last row but it's literally her job. The flight was also pretty turbulent- which is usually worse in the back of the plane."
