In general it would be nice if passengers could pre-order from a set selection of foods online what they would like on their tray. The airline did nothing to prepare for this situation. It took hours to get another flight organised, communication was non existent and refreshments took ages to come. Airline didn't help with finding a hotel for stranded passengers."

We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. I will always remember their wonderful service when thinking about our trip to Frankfurt, Germany. Robert"

Are we saying that Singapore Air do not have any proper repair kit to fix it without using scotch tape?? I get a wheelchair assist (elderly woman with some mobility issues). The service person who brought me to the gate never showed up again to help with the boarding. Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

Some passengers complained about being hot, but flight attendant only pointed out the overhead gasper vents, which were obviously open but did little to help the sweating and general discomfort. Ưu: "Ability to use headphones and electronic devices on flight. Chinese carriers, like china southern currently do not allow use of any electronics even those with flight mode. HK airport is a very easy and efficient airport to transit through or arrive at. Only singapore is easier."

All Asia countries and airlines rely on middle names and we had to get our tickets reissued in Hanoi after 10 minutes discussing with supervisor at the counter. We were very lucky they did not charge for reissuing the ticket. HK airlines did not allow our child seat even though it is FAA approved. Also made us check our baby stroller which is small enough to go under the seat because it did not have a cover. Finally connection too short so luggage did not make our connecting flight."

The return flight was using older equipment, no touch screens involved, but the announcements were not loud over headsets (thankfully)."

Passport and boarding passes are taken away by the airline ground staff. Good airline but worst staff at airport. A lot to be said. TORTURE"

Had I booked directly through them they would have provided meals/hotel for the night. Instead we had to get two rooms for our family of 6. It took also a very long time before we took off. We were told that it was because of the luggage being loaded but it took almost 2 hours before we finally took off. In the plane, there was a man who was obviously intoxicated and was talking in a very loud voice. I think that someone should have spoken to him about his behavior and proper decorum on the plane. Also, the flight didn't have WiFi working on the plane as well (we were told that it wasn't working) and the seat back was broken. I wish that they had told us that ahead of time to manage expectations. I hope that the next flight that I take on Philippine Airlines will be better. I hope that these comments/suggestions will really be taken into consideration so that they can make their service even better because I would really want to use Philippine Airlines again."

The pilot got on the speaker and assured the passengers that the plane is ok and able to handle any turbulence. He spoke in a very calm voice and I think it also calmed most of the passengers. I went back to sleep."

Khuyết điểm: "Flight delayed for 5 hours - Connection from Manila was going to be very close. Flight attendant assured me multiple times they would hold the connecting plane, and give us an escort off the plane to make it to the other gate as fast as possible. We arrive in Manila, and there is no special escort. They take us at a regular pace to a connections desk in the terminal. They delayed helping us so we missed the only other flight leaving that night for Bali. While the person at the transfer desk was supposed to be helping us get new connecting flights, they would stop helping us, and take care of other people that showed up at the desk. It took them 1 1/2 hours to rebook our flight. They tried to put us on a flight that took over 20 hours with connections for a direct flight we had missed that would take about 4 hours of flying. We had to get on Kayak.com ourselves to find a better connecting flight that left the next morning. After 1 1/2 hours, the attendant finally put on a flight that was similar to the one we found but slightly worse. They said they could not work with certain airlines leaving from Manila, which I did not understand. Then, they proceed to tell us to go wait in the terminal overnight for the flight leaving the next day. We had to directly ask them to give us a hotel room for the night, which they did upon our request, but were not going to offer it without us asking for it. I understand delays and missed flights are part of air travel. But we were routinely lied to, ignored, and flat out pushed aside during the rebooking process. It was a completely unacceptable way to treat a customer. Never fly Philippine Airlines if you can avoid it."

The first flight was delayed multiple times for over ten hours due to weather (which was fine) and "waiting for a customer to board." The second return flight was again delayed. The worst was baggage: it took over two hours from parking at gate to me retrieving my check-in baggage from the baggage claim. This airline was horrible. Even though the flight crew was decent, I will not return. This was my first and will be my last time flying with this airline."
