Instead (??), the airline had me boarding LAST (most airlines have had me board among the first), and then sitting at an aisle seat (most airlines have me at a window). They asked me to wait to deboard until all passengers were off - that is standard. But because I was sitting on the aisle I had to get up and wait standing while the two other passengers on the row got out, and then go back to be seated. Very awkward"

The fruit tasted rotten and the food didn't seem as fresh either. The customer service was also mediocre. When I was on ANA airlines all the staff were very helpful and they seemed statisfied with their jobs. When I travel to ASIA again I will try and avoid Vietnam airlines."

The 6:10 flight left about 15 minutes late, and still had plenty of empty seats."
With Scoot you get what you pay for. Pitch is decent but the portal for entertainment doesn't work.
I had to pay 30Sgd just because I selected the seats (standard) during the online check in.
we were on Scoot Plus, there was priority check-in, boarding and alighting, free drink with food, free 30Mb wifi, seats were roomy, it was an awesome flight!

I was also informed that I had to pick my luggage up at baggage claim in Melbourne and re-Check-in even though I had booked through to Ayers Rock. The re-check-in is a way to get money from clients because I was charged $60AUD for an overweight baggage. Strange, because I was never asked about it in Perth."

Therefore, (1) you need to eat before you board, bring your own food, or pay for any food / drink on the flight, (2) you have virtually no luggage allowance. Make sure you call them and pay for your luggage BEFORE you go to the airport. The pre-pay prices are very reasonable, but they are dramatically more if you wait to add luggage until arrival at the airport. Overall, the personnel were very friendly, and it was a good flight...just make sure that you are aware of what I just mentioned."

There was an absurd amount of families on this flight with really young screaming, ill-behaved children and their indifferent parents. The flight attendants were equally indifferent and unhelpful. You get absolutely nothing for free - everything cost - food, blankets, pillows, etc. on this 10 hour flight. AND when water was requested, it was a small, mouthwash size cup with a note, that "we charge for water." $4. Wow. Probably one of the worst experiences in the air ever. I won't be back. The price was stellar, but after paying for seats, luggage and enduring the people on the flight, I'd prefer to pay more and get A LOT MORE from an airline like Virgin Australia. If you're cutting corners and trying to save money, save yourself and your sanity and spend a little more on quality airline."

This was a shock to have to pay so much, I would understand paying for overweight luggage but just to check a bag was outrageous. Then for a 6 hour flight there was no food provided, and the only free entertainment was to promote Jetstar. If I'd have known my $180 ticket would have been double in the end I would have just gone with someone else."

This is outrageous. We are traveling in Australia/NZ for 23 days with golf clubs and many bags, spending lots of money in these countries, and were very upset to learn of this archaic policy."
