They were also curt trying to rush us off the flight as my daughter was trying to locate a lost item as we arrived. She has limited sight and we need time to get off and to find things.... given she has lost an iPad, and very expensive reading glasses and other things on the trips that span 24 - 36 hrs."

Secondly, I think that if this airline became the best airline in 2017, staff should care about their passengers’ stuff more than they do, so backpacks or suitcases don't lose parts or get crushed during flights. When I got my backpack back, I thought that someone had used it to play football. My backpack had lost some parts, and some pieces of it were torn!"

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

Was promised my luggage by 4:30 pm . Didn't receive it until 2:30 am next day. Missed my whole first day of vacation as I had no clothes , toiletries, etc . Very angry, and feel I should get a substantial discount on my next flight in March to Dubai. Totally unacceptable !!!!!!!"
Khuyết điểm: "I never made it to the Yerevan to Doha flight, because Qatar Airways did not get me to my destination in time. They had an emergency landing in The Azores, after turbulence and several passengers got injured, when the pilot failed to warn passengers to put on their seat belts and they flew into the air, hitting the ceiling before falling down. One passenger had a heart attack. Once they de-planed us in The Azores, not a single Qatar Airways employee helped us on site anymore. Passengers were left in the hands of hotel and airport staff. There was very little communication with the passengers. A relief flight was supposed to come in 12 hours. It did not come for another 35. After the emergency landing, some passengers noticed that a wing looked defective. The disruption may not have been due only to bad weather, but a defective plane as well."

They go out of their way to help the packager get comfortable and settle in there seat before and after take off. I have been a member with Asian Airlines for 6 years and won't change airlines for nothing even if I have to pay a little extra for great service."

Attendants are some of the nicest I've ever met, though their English (and PA announcements, etc) will be a bit hard to understand unless you're used to communicating with folks for whom English is a second language. They're also all softspoken, which is very soothing, but even harder to understand what they're saying! Seats are also BIG and have a great recline (seat and seat back) on the Airbus. Flying on a daytime departure from NYC to ICN I had a lot of empty seats to stretch out on and it was pretty quiet for a long flight to Asia."
Khuyết điểm: "Seats are HARD! I'm not sure how you even make a hard airplane seat but they've figured it out on the Airbus for sure. The solution: get a second pillow to use as a seat cushion. Solves the problem. Also, the "upgrade" to the bulkhead seat is only good if you have a baby in a carrier or really long legs. If you like having your bags near you, or want to keep stuff at your feet to work on, or like to raise the arm between seats, or have a tray table and pocket in front of you... you won't have any of those in the bulkhead upgrade seat. And the phone customer support simply doesn't know enough English to explain these things properly. Fortunately someone else was happy to switch with me. Lastly, they really don't understand that special meals do not need to lack in flavor. Non-Lactose Meals are super boring in flavor - and there was no reason at all not to serve the bulgogi or spicy pork dishes for the NLML! They seemed surprised when I asked to switch it, which suggests to me that the attendants don't even know what 'non-lactose' means, though they were very sweet about confirming and delivering me my special (bland) meals. But asking for a packet of gochujang solves that problem!"

A 10 hour flight with no place to put my feet or legs. The seat was cramped and unbearable. I noticed every window seat has this box. This should never be designed for a transatlantic flight. I will NEVER fly them again. The food was pretty nasty too. Rubbery chicken and the omelet was gross at breakfast. The check in process was terrible. Everyone just files in line, no order to boarding people."

When we recently tried to board a plane in Inchon, Korea for a return flight to San Francisco we were told that we could not board though the gate labeled "Elite/Gold Club members" but had to stand in the long line of Economy class customers. When I asked "Why", I was told it was for Star Alliance Gold Club members, not Asiana Gold Club members. There was no indication on the sign there was a difference. Don't get me wrong, I'm not so disturbed about standing in the long line. I was upset because of the implied difference in the Star Alliance Gold Club benefits vs. Asiana Gold Club benefits and, as far as I am aware, the unpublished differences so when we as customers are at the airport trying to operate within the system, we know what to do. Please confirm there is a difference and what those differences are. Jerry"
Ưu: "The flight attendants were responsive and polite. The foot rests at the economy seats were a nice bonus. The bathrooms were well stocked and mostly clean. The entertainment was OK. There were mostly action movies which aren't my thing."
Khuyết điểm: "The check-in line was about an hour long. There were way too few people at the counters for a very large plane. I pre-weighed my bags on scales that weren't being used and moved things around. The really stressful part was my carry on bag. It was overweight and transferred things to my handbag and into my suitcases as much as I could. The only things in my carry on were my laptop and medication. It was still 2 kilos overweight. I appealed to the manager who said I had to check it. Checking a bag with my medication would be dangerous to my health and we know they wouldn't reimburse me for the theft of my laptop. The manager, Yeonju Lee (first name may be spelled incorrectly) was completely inflexible and devoid of compassion as was the check in agent. They said the restriction was due to security measures, which is a lie. I've traveled all over the world with carry on over 20 pounds and there has never been a problem. They said I had to correct the problem in 7 minutes or I would not be allowed on the plane. Ultimately, I almost missed the flight. I had to ask people in the security line if I could go ahead of them. If I can avoid it, I will never fly Asiana again. The seats are hard as rocks which is difficult for a 14 hour flight."

Khuyết điểm: "This was the worst airline I have flown with. I booked my tickets last minute, it was for me and my 4 month old son. I had 3 suitcases a stroller and 2 carryons. I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

This, in turn, caused a domino effect for the remainder of my flights and travel plans. I had to PURCHASE brand new tickets and go through a refunding debacle, not through Kayak but another third party whom actually held the tickets. FIASCO is the word! Kayak did not even recognize the cancellation and continued to try and check me in to flights i was not on. Such a headache.. I will not be using this service in the future"

No transfer or taxi was provided and No single apology from the staff or company . Very disappointed with Turkish airlines !"
