they changed my destination to salt lake city instead of san antonio.i dont know what happening on your system and my baggage is no where to be found now. I waited my baggage in Lax that caused delay on my flight going to san antonio but the baggage is still missing.

Ticket flight selling should more detail at each a few countries when transit to Vietnam Ho Chi City. Unfortunately, I could not take this flight which was July 22 because i have to transfer airport in Japan. So that, I had to pay another ticket one way to Vietnam and in difference day.
The Manila to Japan leg were great, so was the Japan to Chicago… but it all went downhill from Chicago. Our connecting flight from Chicago to Philadelphia was cancelled, then our baggages were loaded onto a different flight than our actual rebooked flight. We made arrangements for us to pock-up our mis-routed luggages that arrived at Phildelphia a day after our flight. However, AA delivered the baggages, so we got a hold of our baggages at the end the day already.
As I worried about, the time between my flights was not nearly enough. So, I got stuck in Tokyo during golden week and extra night. That was terrible and difficult.
Seats TOO small and hard !!!
I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". I lost my non-refundable hotel money and didn't get the ticket to go to Hong Kong. What is maybe cancelled and JALs phone messege still said the flight would depart at 00:10. So I go back to JFK because after all “maybe” isnt a definitive and according to all the direct JAL sources the flight is suppose to depart, I get to JFK the second time only to be given a printout saying the flight is cancelled with no rebooking, and to call for assistance. The same number is been calling for hours trying to get answers. coukdnt reschedules because I’m calling outside of business hours! I spent $200 on cab rides going back and forth to JFK to go nowhere, get no apology, no new flight booking, and no reimbursement for transportation."

Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you'd be!!!"

With most passengers coming far from the airport, it will be very very helpful if the counter, even at least one counter, would open earlier, so that passengers who came in early could check in early and wait comfortably in the departure area."

Everything was excellent!
The planes were nice. That’s about it. I was very disappointed in the service which was not good. For a long haul flight, they did not provide 2 full meals. After about an hour into the flight they served a tiny tortilla vegetable wrap and drink of choice. Im not exaggerating when I say it was tiny. At first I thought wow what a treat to get an appetizer, but that’s all they served!! In all my long haul travels this is a first. What happened to the first meal?? The second meal (which was not good at all) was served 2 hours before landing at lax. Then there was not any amenity kits given out at least a toothbrush and toothpaste. Nothing was given out. Well I guess that makes sense since no first meal was served. The crew didn’t have any snacks on board or offered any I received more food on my first flight from Manila to Haneda. Seriously this has to be a mistake on someone’s part. Japan Airlines which I flew recently, certainly provided better service food and a toothbrush!!! Actually any flight does like delta American and Korean Air. Even China Southern? What happened to ANA supposedly 5 stars on Skytrax?

Every Service - Snack, Drinks, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee/Tea, Second and Third rounds of drinks includes a cold towel to wipe your face and hands and most important, trash is collected promptly EVERY single time. WOW. I noticed that Flight Attendants take notes on sleeping passengers for every major meal service, and they take the time to revisit those customers when awake to check they might have wanted to be fed. I also noticed that the crew has special double sided tape to pickup crumbs and spills in the aisles so grime is not tracked into the carpet. Dont be surprized to see a flight attendant cruising the aisle after dinner with a soft cooler full of small vanilla Hagen Daz cups..."
Khuyết điểm: "We flew from Bangkok to Washington Dulles with a connection in Tokyo. Snow in Japan caused crew shifts to max out and ultimately a dramatic change in flight departure. (Guaranteeing a missed connection) This caused multiple downstream challenges. 1. Original flight was scheduled for 00:30. (Half Past Midnight), rescheduled flight was scheduled for 12:30 (Half Past Noon) For Americans unused to a 24 hour clock, this made emails From ANA very difficult to wrap your mind around. Was it a typo? What happens when you miss your connection? (Turns out weather delays do NOT result in accommodations or meals being provided) Rescheduled flight should have been for 1231 with (AM/PM in Parentheses) 2. For passengers who spent their vacation/trip near the equator, the prospect of spending the night in snowbound Tokyo was simply not addressed in the cancellation email. The better option was to stay in your original point of origin and make the connection in one day, but email has NO telephone number for passengers to call to make these arrangements. (We ended up calling a toll California telephone number to be sure we got an English speaking agent) 3. Many SE Asian departing cities have a crazy baggage weight policy that allows for Two bags of 25 Kilos each , but if you have a single bag that weights 32 Kilos, you must pay excess baggage. Although the policy may NOT be specific to ANA, there are hundreds of folks of all nationalities repacking suitcases on the floor of the airport, to try to meet the regulations. As a traveler I understand this, but as an ANA customer it makes no sense, especially when the ticket agent cannot charge the overage to a credit card at the ticket counter. Instead sending you to a different location then waiting for you to return with a receipt. Its a huge scam and ANA can do better communicating the rules to passengers via email or their web site. Nothing starts a long trip off worse than arguments over arcane rules. 4. Changing a return flight arrangement as a result of weather happens at the last moment, but seat assignments apparently could not keep up. I would rather NOT fly than face a center seat in coach for 14 hours. I cannot explain what happened, but repeated attempts at advance check in showed NO assigned seats available, the ticket and gate agents could not improve on this, but BOTH flights ended up having empty seats and in the end we stressed for nothing. ANA must be able to do better, improving their IT systems to make advance seat assignments possible no matter how challenging the problem of "equipment" and other changes in the face of a canceled flight."

I understand this carrier needs to cater to a broad cultural and geographic audience, but I think they make it too complicated. Giving meal service a decidedly Japanese angle results in main courses that are mush, and sides that are OK. Good yogurt, decent fruit, delicately prepared salads, delicious cookies and hagen daz are pretty simple and make the meals fun. (especially since chop sticks are always included), but the ovens turn the main courses into a stinky and kinda nasty thing. I wish they would simplify."

Ưu: "This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much."

The flight flew off course for almost 30 minutes, while the flight attendants required everyone to remain seated due to supposed turbulence. We felt no turbulence for almost 25 mins. No update was given to passengers while we flew far off course. I motioned to the flight attendant, who was seated due to turbulence warning, to ask why we were off-course, but she could not get up. Many passengers were pointing to the flight path animation, to point out that we were flying straight north, instead of southeast. The flight attendant then called the captain for an update, and then the captain finally made an announcement about weather delays around shanghai."

Ưu: "We received friendly attitudes with lots of soft drinks. Upstairs in the airbus was good as my seat was near the emergency door, where I had room for my long legs. I was given aisle seats on both return flights so I could move about more. The meals were lovely. The airbus was good for peace & quiet from crying children."
Khuyết điểm: "I had left an expensive style of neck/travel pillow i left in my Perth rental car but wasn’t supported to pick it up. I had to arrange for the car rental firm to post it. We had over 3/4 hr to fly. We were boarding. It’s a shame there wasn’t a quick way of getting my pillow to me without customs bureaucracy. It was a simple mistake. A toilet was blocked and temporarily unavailable. Some passengers were taking a long time and queues were building at different times."

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly for food ....."

Flight attendants were particularly friendly and helpful.
AA did horrible with the checking in. I was late my flight even though I got there 2 hours before my flight. There were bunches of people waiting in the line to check in and only had 2 agents at that time. More than half people in line couldn’t fly that day because the flight always took off before we checked in
Kind and caring flight staff. Comfortable flight
The on board crew was awesome, weather delayed flight, missed connecting flight, landed at a diff airport. No sign of baggage. Anywhere.
About an hour late, sat on runway waiting for fuel long time. Then there was no ground crew to get us in the air, had to wait on them.
Ưu: "We ask for help with a 80 year old woman that needed assistance signed up for help o get her from one terminal to her next carnet flight no one accepted her."

First of all she doesn’t know how to enter India OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) information. She was keep saying I do not have a visa to go to India. Which I do not"
Khuyết điểm: "The female staff at the desk where the luggage is dropped and boarding passes are issued was very rude. A little smile makes a difference vs being rude to customers. Apparently she needed to know that she is getting paid because customers like us choose to fly AA or BA"

We had the front seat in first class. All night long the crew were talking loudly- difficult to sleep. They should be conscious of the passengers"

Never before experience such a low and virtually feel like an inmate, Just because the person in doing so, was profiling and that is NO GOOD , also the airport is filthy and dirty , Nobody Cares...I will not come again as a tourist to that country.. American Airlines should train the staff to be more courteous and not to ask that many questions ..it feels like you where in Siberia.."

Khuyết điểm: "Tv was out the entire international flight. When I asked the flight attendant for help he said that "wasn't his job" and walked away. When I asked another attendant for help she said there wasnt anything she could do and that their "tv's suck". Rude crew, uncomfortable, cheap."

I looked and YES there was at least 5 other seats in rows much closer than mine! Also upon arrival we did not get off the plane for 15 minutes . My connection was boarding already. I had to go from gate E 6 to gate B14 in a flash at the age of 66 I barely made it out of breath and they were about to close the doors! I was not a happy camper when I was told in the flight 5406 that I had plenty of time!!! not to worry!!!"

Ưu: "There was an air traffic back-up for a few minutes, and instead of just letting us sit there wondering what was going on, the pilot gave us periodic updates on what was happening, which made the process much easier. Also, the flight attendants were friendly, which makes a big difference."
Khuyết điểm: "First, the original 90 minute layover became 8 hours with the old buy this scheduled ticket and 3 weeks later we will switch it to 7 hours. After a 8 hour red-eye, it was brutal. BA was an hour late taking off from London to Warsaw. The onboard experience was charge for everything. No sodas, water, nuts, etc. Oh and boarding, cmon. The gold, silver and special people go first. I think that was 5 people. The other 150 plus, you are on your own, go. You have your typical isle 5 person holding up the entire loading procedure, trying to get their oversized bag in the overhead, versus loading from the back. Wow."

It delayed the flight over 2 hours and then the process screw up someone visas and they had to be removed with their luggage. But you know this already! You need to implement a better secondary system and have your employees be trained to use it."
