Khuyết điểm: I lived in the area of the hotel for 19 years and had recently moved away from the district. We had booked into the hotel on a visit back to visit friends, on check in we were greeted from the reception staff and after they had discussed something on their screen they gave me a key to a room. Entering the room we almost straight away decided we were not going to stay in there. The room had food and toe nails on the floor by the bed. Let's say the reception wasn't to surprised to see me, after explaining about the room they mumbled something about the room maid. We were the given another room which was similar but clean. Around 6.00 am we were woken by the sound of beeping, we had been given a room outside the service entrance and a busy car park. I decided not to mention this and tried to spend as little time as possible in the hotel. After all the years driving past the hotel which looks grand from the outside its was such a disappointment. I won't be staying at the Clarendon again and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. I actually run a B&B and i would never treat my guest to such awful accommodation. The breakfast was buffet style and not that great. I payed £505 for 4 nights for such accommodation it wasn't worth half that. Keep clear of the Clarendon

Ưu điểm: The location is brilliant as a base for visiting London. The staff are brilliant, very friendly, the hotel food and bar is great, an all round fantastic few days in London all made the better by staying at the Clarendon, top Mark's!

Ưu điểm: The location was very good looking out on to a heath. The staff in the dining room in the evening were very friendly and helpful.

Khuyết điểm: Very poor reception by the receptionist when we arrived. Asked for directions to our room. Given very vague directions which actually didn't mean anything. I had to ask again. I had 2 pieces of awkward luggage to manage on my own. I was offered no help. The room: Bed badly made had to strip it and make it myself before we could get into it. etc etc. I showed the manager what I was not happy with. We were given a full refund.

Ưu điểm: The staff that attended to me was a very nice man, he helped me and took my luggage upstairs to my room not withstanding that I arrived very late, free breakfast, nice location and fantastic reception makes it all.

Khuyết điểm: On arrival, I was waiting the staff for about 30 minutes (no one was at the reception). Mud is everywhere. Nowhere to put things. All things have to be put on the dirty floor. There was disgusting smell and filth in the toilets. In the shower there are no hangers and shelves. Paid for accommodation for 2 nights, but left after the first. Because it was unbearable to be in this place. My holidays was ruined. The worst hostel I've ever been in.

Khuyết điểm: There was a very sick person in the same room with healthy one. Why the hostel administration didn't took some appropriate measures? Why he wasn't moved to another room? There where a plenty of empty rooms in the hostel!!! As the result I was infected and I am seriously ill now

Ưu điểm: Communal area and canteen very neat and clean, lobby very clean as well. Wish the room were as clean. Nice garden. Peaceful neighborhood.

Khuyết điểm: Ok for 2 nights. I'm female and stayed in mixed dorm. Room was clean but toilets near the room were most of the time dirty. Showers smelled bad (poor ventilation system. Toilet fan totally covered by old and new dust). Not safe to leave stuff unattended when using toilets. Staff bored. Dorms on second floor, no lift.
