The servers are very proper and the food was fabulous.

Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually).
Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

Ưu điểm: The room was well set out with an extra bed for a 3rd adult. The beds were all comfortable and the sound proofing was excellent so we all got a good nights sleep. Useful in room safe and tea/ coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent with a wide ranging fresh buffet and hot food cooked to order. The best thing however was the staff. They were all friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special as my daughter celebrated her 21st birthday. They arranged a bottle of Prosseco and chocolate strawberries as well as a card and balloons! Fantastic and huge thanks go to Beth and Kostatin for all their care and attention. The restaurant was also excellent, a new experience for us to have Peruvian food and the staff were helpful with reccommendations.

Ưu điểm: The location of this hotel is great. We were able to walk to so many sites from the hotel. We also liked that there were two Underground stations nearby. That made it convenient getting to and from the airport without taking a car service. The room was nice, and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. We also like the option to include breakfast with our stay.

Khuyết điểm: The housekeeping each day was just okay. Some days they didn't give us more than one wash cloth (there were two of us) and other days they left the windows open in our room. We were also disappointed with the breakfast each day. We would've like the buffet to include a few more options for the price. On the mornings that we ordered breakfast from the kitchen, it was often slow and the service was not that great. Other than those minor things, we enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street.

Ưu điểm: We were surprised by the quality of breakfast especially as the breakfast area was quite small but everything was so fresh and flavourful and of a really high standard. They kept replenishing the breakfast area as well. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up staying in our room longer than we thought as we had a terrace and everything was so nice and comfortable. Really liked the bar area too.

Ưu điểm: We were surprised by the quality of breakfast especially as the breakfast area was quite small but everything was so fresh and flavourful and of a really high standard. They kept replenishing the breakfast area as well. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up staying in our room longer than we thought as we had a terrace and everything was so nice and comfortable. Really liked the bar area too.

The Square and surrounding area was extremely crowded, but the hotel somehow felt like an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. The bed, pillows and shower were great! We chose the breakfast included option, and felt like that was a good value. Breakfast was much more than just the standard Continental fare; there were hot items available as well. Lastly, all the staff was friendly and helpful!

All of the staff were quite pleasant. This hotel seemed to be a great meeting place for "locals," as they did have a private party that was attended by 40 to 50 people. Also, it seems to attract young professionals (mid "20s to 30s")!

The check in staff did not advise that reservations were necessary for the rooftop bar - our 3 guests arrived, my husband requested the lift they called up & said it was ok. When my husband & guests got to the rooftop, they were seated in the restaurant. I managed to get it sorted out & we were “squeezed” in - very embarrassing. Your staff needs to advise hotel guests that RESERVATIONS are required.

Housekeeping consisted of having the bed made (no turn down service or tidying). Poor hairdryer and minibar (they’ve opted for an ‘all inclusive’ style minibar which consists of water and Coca Cola, no snacks at all - would rather a chargeable bar with wider selection if that is how the hotel intends to play it). Breakfast is weird - they have a buffet and a la carte style (all a la carte items are charged additionally - fine but not fine to charge for a cappuccino or any other type of coffee that is not filter).

Lastly, the breakfast buffet was NOT worth the $25 to $30 that it cost, there was nothing exceptional about it! But the other meals were enjoyable.

He was very nice, considerate : he offered water, drinks, a blanket and made sure I get a room as FAST as he could. Thank you again also for the hospitality of ALL staff from desk, vallet, food, room services. THEY ARE SO GREAT. THE VALLET GUY EVERY MORNING IS JUST F A N T A S T I C It is sad that construction works are blocking the road towards your hotel. It adds nothing in terms of style and is outdated) -No bar or restaurant although they provide places locally to get a bite to eat. -The hotel is split into two parts and the hallways are so dark you can get a bit lost.

Khuyết điểm: Small room. Staff not what it once was. After staying here close to 30 times we regrettably have had a pleasent time on our last few occasions. This place used to mean so much to use and has added to our special occasions, now it's the only thing that let's our occasions down.

Khuyết điểm: Noisy boiler that kept coming on near us and the bin men emptying early on a Sunday. I had paid for a large room, then on realising it wasn’t a twin felt I was then put in a back room for the same money, hence the value rating went down.

My room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee. Really pleased and will recommend. I will definitely look to stay here when I next need accommodation in London (most months)

Ưu điểm: Our room & ensuite were very clean & comfortable and we really enjoyed the Rooftop cafe/bar. After we settled into our room we went up to the Rooftop bar and enjoyed a cool drink and enjoyed a fantastic view. We returned later in the evening and had tapas and another drink before heading out to see a show. The hotel was in a good location, not far from transport services. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing a problem.

Khuyết điểm: We ordered 2 rooms, One of the rooms had an electricity failure multiple times a day and also during the night. My friend who slept there had no air condition during the night struggled to sleep. We asked the hotel to fix the electricity issue or to switch room, they checked it but didn’t fix, as they didn’t give us any appropriate solution or even discount at the end, but very bad vibes from the hotel reception. In addition both rooms didn’t seem to be properly maintained, e.g unbearable noise during shower.

Khuyết điểm: Unfortunately Leicester Square was very noisy at night, a busker with a guitar and an amplifier started up at 1030pm and didn’t stop until 3am so couldn’t get to sleep. I went down to reception at 2:30am and asked whether the Police had been called to move him on but the receptionist said the police had gone past on bikes but wouldn’t stop him singing as the crowd around him was too large. I asked if he had any earplugs but none were available. It ruined what should of been a lovely evening as had to be up for 7am to catch a train home.

Khuyết điểm: I had to walk down 8 flights of stairs from the restaurant because the lift was not working (better down than up!). The hotel interior is still under construction on the upper floors but I felt guests were quite well insulated agains it.

There’s a nice bar upstairs, but you can’t take your drink back to your room to not watch your TV. It’s budget in the extreme, which is fine, but when you pay more than £300 for a night because who knows what is going on in London and all the hotels are insane prices, £300 is a lot of money for budget. Will NOT be returning.

Khuyết điểm: Odd plastic coating to the carpets in the corridor, at least on the 6th floor where I was! I arrived tired and hungry at 10pm and there was no food to be had at all in the hotel. Had to go to a burger place opposite! The shower head (not the rainfall one above; the hand-held attachment) was slightly broken at the base spraying water out at an odd angle.

Ưu điểm: The W Hotel is in a very central location in London - right in the heart of Chinatown and it's surroundings. We expected it to be quite loud but found the hotel to be extremely quiet and comfortable during our stay there. The hotel has a very funky vibe and is suited to travellers who don't mind being in the heart of the action and looking for a modern hotel. The room was comfortable and had all the modern conveniences one would expect from a hotel of W's size. Overall, a pretty good stay!

Khuyết điểm: I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it".
Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night.
Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.

Khuyết điểm: W hotel always have party during the weekend! The room is quiet still! But you can feel the hotel is “busy” during the party time. Also, no bath in the room, which is a bit weird for this price’. Shower room very small.

The desk clerk traded my one coin for several smaller denominations -- and when one in the sequence was missing, he even went next door to make change out of his own pocket so that my collection would be complete. I liked the complimentary mini-bar. It was nice to have something for free when most else in the vacation was for charge. The room was very nice. The location was right in the middle of everything -- all within easy walking distance. It was just a few moments from the nearest underground station.

Khuyết điểm: Furniture bit old fashioned, dark woods makes the room dark. Mini bar was a bit poor for £285 room. 2 alcoholic drinks and the rest was soft drinks. The toiletries were poor tried washing my hair with literally zero suds. Better quality products needed for a high standard hotel. I was charged for 2 phone calls- again I don’t think you should be charged for using the phone- it should be free as a facility!

Bathrooms and showers were cleaned throughout the day and spotless. Staff were very helpful especially with luggage when the lift was out of order. Common area/ pub was cheery and the breakfast included was really good value. Dinner menu was wholesome, good size portions and also good value. I also liked the fact that there were a decent number of vegetarian options - and that there is a Tesco and a Boots really nearby for any other needs.

We booked double room but not feel comfortable only for this reason. Also, I think, double rooms should be located further away from crowded dormitories.

Khuyết điểm: The size of the rooms is fine. I find them cosy and generally sleep very well, which is one of the reasons I choose to stay there. In fact this room was a little large than normal. However on this occasion there were several issues which caused me a big problem - I essentially got no sleep at all: (i) the thermostat seemed broken causing fluctuations in temperature; (ii) the walls were very thin and I could hear the neighbour performing all of his/her bathroom functions, including regular vomiting; (iii) the light switches were broken and there was no way to turn off all the lights. The lights were on all night.

Khuyết điểm: The room was so tiny (literally wall to wall bed) that there was no where to put anything. I was traveling with my daughter so sharing a bed wasn’t ideal. We were put in a basement room without a window so it was dark which was fine for sleeping but seemed dangerous if there was a fire and would have been a bit depressing if we had wanted to be in the room more.

Khuyết điểm: 3rd stay here and can't believe how it has deteriorated. Majority of staff came across very unhappy and unfriendly. Service at breakfast was non existent, no offer of coffee , had to ask for food to be restocked at the hot buffet. Dining area was dirty especially on tables and chairs . Paid for a bigger room which was lovely but were not told bathroom was set up for disabled use ,which is great to see but takes the edge of a bit of luxury when spending that bit more. Burnt my head as shower kept fluctuating in temperature to the extreme,which is very concerning if it is being used by anyone with a disability. Couldn't get signal on the TV.

Khuyết điểm: When I arrived at 10 am I asked for early check-in as I had requested by mail and phone already, invoking business meetings at noon for which I had to shower and dress and the fact that I was going to leave at 6 am the next day and would thus occupy the room less than 24h. The answer was a stereotype "we have no availability now, have to put you on waiting list, cannot guarantee you will get a room before 14h". Only when I insisted, mentioning that someone had just checked out in front of me and that it would certainly not take more than an hour to make up that room and that otherwise I would have to look further and cancel my reservation did the staff take the "trouble" of calling housekeeping. And - surprise - there were actually two nice rooms free and ready on the top floor ! Afterwards the staff became very friendly and accomodating though, allowing me to have my breakfast (which was included) on the day of arrival rather than of the departure which would have been too early. I cannot say whether the initial formality and lack of flexibility and disposition is company policy or was due to the attitude of the two people at the reception.

Ưu điểm: Breakfast was okay. Fruit selection was a little lack lustre. Restaurant staff VERY friendly. The heating wasn't switched on for the winter yet, but staff did bring a radiator to the room which was great. Housekeeping staff also very friendly.

Khuyết điểm: Walls are paper thin so you can here everything outside and they were renovating the room next door so we were awakened by the sound of sanding on the wall. I just wore ear plugs the next night.

Khuyết điểm: The mattress was AWFUL!!! We had a late checkout for 2pm but left before 12.00 as the bed wasn't comfy. Very surprised at this!! I won't stay at this Holiday Inn again, even though the price point was okay. A good night's sleep is so important and this is the first time, in a very long time, I haven't felt rested after staying at a hotel.

Khuyết điểm: Lack of information about what is available in hotel - there's a spa brochure in the room (which wasn't relevant for me) but no info about the restaurants, what time breakfast is served and where etc etc). Got to our room and the minibar was empty so had to phone room service for a bottle of water. Extremely grumpy concierge came up with it, complaining that it wasn't his job but there was no-one else around. While he was there we asked him if he could look at the TV which didn't work. At first he said that in the room refurb they must have forgotten to connect the television. After ages, he found something behind the TV which enabled him to turn it on. I have honestly not ever met such a grumpy person working in a hotel! In addition to all this, the room (particularly the bathroom) wasn't very clean. And the shower was just a trickle. Not good enough for £279 per night...

Khuyết điểm: Hmmm.... 1st room - smelled of paint, had no furniture and planks of wood on the floor. 2nd room - had more body fluid on the sofa than material, stunk of smoke, and genuinely looked like a shag den. 3rd room - was shabby, had light fittings missing, electrics hanging off the wall. Looked like the bailiffs had been in and removed stuff ! 4th room - perfect.... now why was it so difficult to have not got it right in the first place. Staff didnt really care. Had no interest in getting it right, had to repeat ourselves constantly as new staff came on. No offer of compensation or a sorry !! Very disappointed and we were a returning customer
